Maybe a bit morbid but in your mx years what bones have you guys broke, supose I,ll start with 3 wrist breaks , tib and fib , foot , rib , and the most recent my femur in may , man it was thee worst pain ever, worst thing is the healing process, just long for a days racing
I find a lot of bone injuries occur in my skeletal area.
The Shop
Femur, both wrists at same time, 3 bones in foot, collarbone, thumb, other finger, toe, ankle (fractured something in it 10 days ago)
femur and three vertebrae on streetbikes.
Maybe time for another Percocet. And no, I don't write my own.
MR
Broken back, broken collar bone, torn rotator cuff, broken scapula, pulled lat muscle, a few broken fingers, broken ribs, cracked sternum broken foot 2 places, 4 or 5 concussions ...................................and a partidge in a pear tree.
I broke my right wrist (navicular) next, it took 1 year to heal and the doc started to talk about fusing it, I don’t know why I get all the complicated ones. But I refused and the dying chunk of bone he screwed back on finally re-grew and I’m ship shape now.
I broke a few ribs too when I crashed and shattered my elbow…. Those actually hurt the worst, couldn’t breath, had to roll out bed… it was miserable.
I am sure there are others but to minor to remember
yesterday at OIR i broke my pelvis, dislocated my hip, cracked my t1 and broke my clavicle,im in the hospital now, worst pain ever.........
Pit Row
More than my share of concussions, I can tell you that...
Broken back and left femur July 13th '08. Also wondering how long it might be until I can ride again. I'm hoping January '09 at the most.
i was riding my streetbike and a little old lady decided that stop signs didn't apply to her. i spent six weeks in the hospital, followed by 12 weeks in a body cast. now my leg is 1-1/4" shorter than the other.
Three months on crutches. Six months until I was taking putter laps on the kiddie track, and a year until I raced again.
My buddy broke his back and when he came back he rode a 150 a lot. The key is to take it easy of course.
