I'm so used to seeing a 1 on his bike... what number is he actually?

Number 1 is his permanent number. He'll keep it next year so there'll be two #1 plates on the track. Villopoto will have a red background though to show that he's the defending champion.

That is SO confusing that I could almost see it being implemented in the future.

I thought this was the biggest Dungey question of them all...

Will he ride a 2 stroke at the last round of the 2012 Nationals after clinching the title early on his KTM?

Unless Dungey is points leader, then Dungey will have a red 1 and Villopoto will have a blue 1, and he will run the WMX class for that race, however no one really cares about WMX so Villopoto will actually go to Europe that weekend and run a blue 3 in the MX3 class, however if he wins the MXdN then he will get to run MX1 in Europe, and in the MX1 race he will run a gold number 1 because Cairoli stole all of the 2's for his number plate.

No one will remember this, but I predict Dungey will have his worst season of the last 3 in 2012. I'm thinking Suzuki didn't want him anymore, and KTM is a sure losing team to be on.

I'm glad someone understands the rule book as much as me. I didn't go into the detail that you did because I figured nobody would understand me. A lot of people might be confused next year, but it's a good thing you and I won't be!

His number is 1. He'll be using 5 following the years he allows another rider to beat him. That way they don't all quit racing due to massive discouragement issues from losing to RD constantly. Dungey knows the value in maintaining the facade of a competitive series.

the biggest question?

Will RD always be the brides maid with RV in the "whole" series?

Although RV is a gentleman and a scholar, he couldn't possibly have let RD use the number. I do agree with the last part of your statement - "now it's back on the proper machine" - since RD will wear #1 at the MXdN and all. Wink

ONE1FIVE, had crow like everyone else. No one will remember my statement. It's already forgotten. I will restate it. Dungey will not win the 2012 Supercross title, nor the 2012 Motocross title if he goes to KTM. He will join the ranks of Alessi.

When I clicked on this I thought for sure the question would be can Dungey win on a KTM?
