i have been out of the game for a little bit and the other day i went riding on a track for the first time in 2 yrs. i did about 2 laps and had to pull of the track because my arm pump was that bad. Is there any techniques i can do to help with this?
Full waffle grips. Renthal full waffle grips are thicker in diameter and hold onto your hands better.
Gripper seats. Full grip, give your knees something to hold on to.
I run grip tape on my air box. - It eats gear and boots, but I buy closeout gear for $30 a set and it eats the boots no faster then the pegs eat the bottom. Rather then resole, I just get new boots on sale.TCX boots have endured my torture better then any others I have used. They have rubber where the leather usually is and the exoskeleton seems to be more durable. I haven't tried SIDI's yet if they were cheaper I would.
Finally - riding. Nothing helps arm pump more then riding. Try taking some aspirin 30 min before you ride

But once I get it, I always try and open my hands completely up when I get a chance, and breath....

In all seriousness, the way to cure arm pump is to ride 2 or 3 30 minute motos at a pace that doesn't pump you up. Just ride for time, and if you start pumping up, slow down and continue on until you've done the 30 minutes. If you do this at least twice a week, your arm pump will go away.
