So, I have to say first off that their customer service was great before purchasing and I haven't called them about some kind of replacement because I feel like this will just happen again. I bought some number plate graphics and after 20 minutes of riding they were ripped to shreds. Anyone else have this problem? Unfortunately I didn't get a before close up, but I did get a couple of before pictures. Suggestions on a better place to go? I have never seem graphics fall apart this quickly

We use them. After 2 seasons of XC, 2hr races, this set is still stuck on well. In the past I have had trouble getting them off to change numbers for a diff series. The way those are peeled off maybe you a little oily stuff on the plate? And it never adhered. Unusual for their stuff. If install was correct, I would hit em up, they may send you another or even install it on a plate.

Decal works graphics are the best around, ive had them on for 2 years of hard motos and crashes and they never peeled, infact when i tried peeling them off they wouldnt come off lol.

Looks like you did not apply them correctly and or had some oil on the plastics surfaces.

How'd you install them? If you wet installed them they need a couple days to dry. Also if you use too much "wetness", depending on what you use it can wash the sticky off the decals. And as stated above, did you clean the plastic before you installed the graphics? If so, with what?

The bike didn't have any spray on it for sure. It was new off the showroom floor when I installed them, but if you say you haven't had trouble then maybe it is worth giving them a shout. Thanks for the feedback.

I've never had an issue with the graphics not sticking with decal works and I've used them for 5-10 years with multiple sets a year (different bikes)! I've worn plenty out but never had them peel off like that!

I'm guessing maybe you got a bad set somehow or like the poster above said used something when installing that didnt let them stick properly!

Try calling, all they can say is no!

No wet install, just used the tool they sent along with a blow dryer.

Even off the showroom floor you have to clean the panels off with something like alcohol.

Seems like graphics are either hit or miss, I've had a set fall off a few days after I put them on and never even rode with them. I have Used two sets of decal works and never had issues But I used the prep and installation sprays..

Can't remember what it's called but Honda uses a shipping lube so the bikes don't corrode on the slow boat from japan. I would almost gaurantee you didn't clean the plastic well enough. I've gotten 2-3 seasons out of decal works stuff. Operator error is all it could be. I'm sure they will work with you though. That's how good a company they are.

Again , I can't fault their customer service at all. I just wanted to hear if anyone had ever had the issue. I wiped them with just a towel to clean them off before installation, but I can say that I've done the same thing in the past with other graphics and never had a bit of an issue.

The bikes are sprayed with Cosmoline before they are shipped to prevent corrosion If you only wiped it with a towel that's your problem. You need to clean the plates with alcohol or brake clean or you'll keep having the same issue

DeCal has always been awesome if anything like people say, getting the stickers off is more of an issue.

I use them too & never had any issues. Sean over there is great. I email him what I need & he has them to me in Atlanta within 5-7 days. The quality is great. I use windex & a blow dryer everytime. I did have them install my shrouds this last time because I was to lazy & their holding up great. Dizzy

Oddly enough, Sean is the guy who I spoke with prior to ordering. Thanks everyone. I'll post how the call goes tomorrow. Regardless it may be my own error and if so (which it sounds like) then I'll pay the price.

Oh yes it is! I usually just buy some acerbis plastics if its a brand new bike and clean them rather than trying to clean the OEM fresh off the floor plastics.

I think this is more of a Honda problem. Happened to me too. And I bought new number plates and had them installed by decal works before they shipped. Something about my Hondas I always had problems with numbers coming off. Never on any other brand i have had though.

Just a tad off topic here but can I just say that I love the larryloopout handle? "Hey, Larryloopout." Carry on.

ive used several diff backround companies over the years and I do this no matter what. (2010 crf450 currently).. I believe it has to do with the way you ride... I squeeze a lot with my legs, happens no matter what.

Well, it doesn't usually happen to me though is the thing, but.... I went from riding freestyle 90% of the time to riding moto 90% of the time. So that's a possibility. Just never seen it first day. I have yet to call them, but I will today.
