Dean ferris creamed most of the Ama field in that first moto. iv been following him since he was a junior. he is injury prone but holy shit can he ride. I haven't cheered so hard since reedy was winning races. Iv watched him ride and boy he has a slow style but a winning style, because he knows where to put that bike in order to win. big props.

I'm going to argue with you.... just about the meaning of "slow winning style"?? haha...
It was a great ride! Wish he didn't go down that 2nd Moto... a 6th would of got him on overall podium for the Day, would of been great to see !

I hear that brother. but iv seen him many a times in Australia beating everybody by 20 seconds while he looks like he's not going as fast as everybody els. He has a magical smooth but fast style. I was so happy to see him get a 2nd. Hope that leads to bigger things!

Must have been a while since someone got a second in a moto on their first attempt.

Desalle in 2010 I think? Went 2-2 in Unadilla, great battle with Dungey.

When reed retires we need an aussie in the ama competing for wins. Its good for the aussie fans, and that is good for the ama series. Has to be worth a few dollars to a team to have a rider that will have a whole contry behind him.

Just watched the race and holy shit. Effortless speed. Even more effortless than Dungey. It makes you wonder why he gets injured every year!

Not quite, Clement's first US race was actually in 2009 at Washougal when he was riding for the CAS Honda team. He brought some parts over, bolted them up to a borrowed bike and went 3-25 for 10th overall.

Funny how you make an incendiary statement and then say F*** anyone who disagrees with you.

Dean had a clutch race and is a badass. I hope he gets the ride he was fishing for, he deserves one.

Kudos to Ferris. It's not surprising though. You Aussies always have a good handful of riders with world class speed

he rode awesome, i thought a top 10 was possible, but the 1st moto was amazing

hes lost the last 2 NZ titles to Cody Cooper, been great title races the last 2 years here, he makes the days worth watching for sure,

ill be interested to know if he has any luck getting a US ride next year, maybe lack of SX experience might hurt him there, i cant see him on a full factory team, and there is not many 2nd tier 450 rides available, he would be a good pick up for a 250 team

We can work with speed......and Ferris definitely has THAT! Impressive in deed. I like seeing foreigners do good here.

Ferris and Marvin would be a good team for KTM.
