Agreed.. My dad just told me. I guess word is the land owner is around 80yo and turned the land over to his family. Word is the family told Eddy no more.

Yup! I was pretty stoked to hear that. I actually went out to ventura 2 weeks ago and passed by and noticed someone had cleaned up a little bit of the over growth going up the hill into the first canyon. I was curious about it and then a friend that works at factory effex told me they were opening up and another buddy who had a memorial for his brother there said it now has a new owner and will be opening soon.

This is one of my fondest memories shooting James Stewart during the RMZ450 intro. He flew in on a helicopter with Mike Webb, rode the fastest laps I’ve ever seen(it was a stock bike) then took off in the heli.

Here is a picture I took last Sunday when I was there and possibly the last day it will ever be open. It was overcast and epic moist dirt all day! On top it there was not many people there due to mothers day .

So so sad, I’m 11 hours away and only get to ride there maybe once a year. This is a huge loss to the moto community
