Right now I have a fmf sst pipe and it made the power super smooth, before we had a fmf fatty I'm thinking about going to a bills pipe does anyone know if they're any better.

Probably would just change the power curve. Depends on what your definition of better is.

Well the pipe I have right now made it smooth but didn't add any power if anything I might of lost power, but we do have the top end ported

the FMF SST is a top end race pipe the fatty is more of a low to mid pipe. What year YZ125 is it. You probably did lose power down low with the SST but gained it up top as they are made for the fast 125 rider. Two different pipes for different types of power delivery.

Ok, well I feel like I'm a fast 125 rider considering I'm winning 250 b on it but anyways do u know much about bills pips because that's what I'm think we'll buy next

Don't think they even make the SST anymore. Had one on my yz125 and loved it. Over rev was amazing

You are correct. On a two stroke you have to give to get. That SST should pull hard on top

Sometimes you have to take a chance Adam and try a product. Bills usually puts out good stuff.

Isn't the Scalvini a top end pipe as well?

Yep that and the FMF SST are top end pipes but the Scalivini is way cooler looking. cool Got to love the cone pipes.

Here is a dyno graph of the hgs pipe for the yz125. One of the posters on here contacted Bills a little while ago and they told him they use hgs as their bench mark

Which line is which

HGS and Dep make excellent YZ125 pipes. The FMF sold by GYTR is wicked too. You just need to get the jetting right or else you're going to get some serious heat.

A stock Yamaha pipe is better than a PC pipe.

Depends on the year, not sure what year the OPs YZ is but if he has a SST FMF not sure when they quit making them. Some years the pro circuit worked pretty good but not on the newer years of YZ 125.

If the bike is stock I found similar results as the posted bills chart with a bills

Once you modify the bike - if it's actually modified - I found the fmf/hgs to be a little better mid range and the bills to be a little better past peak

Against all 3 the OEM pipe when brand new isn't bad by any stretch...it has the best torque feeling on the track but little weak up top

The PC is ok on a stocker - adds some RPM.

On a mod I've not found it to be my first choice. If the sold villo's version with the longer belly - it would probably mate well to a mod.
