Brock Tickle should convince Jimmy to let him race as Uncle Ron. After the race he can reveal his true identity and give the FIM a big ol fuck you!

Hopefully he backs out last minute and they have an alternate lined up who is capable of a respectable moto finish.

Pastrana and Rick Johnson, please be aware that Peurto Rico is not a country, but a territory. Thank you.

Good luck if this is real.

Classy stuff...

This is the equivalent of showing up for the Olympic hurdles in ass-less chaps.

I think it would have been cool to have this line of for a Guest appearance team.

1) KX500 - Ryan Villapoto
2) RM250 - RC
3) KX125 - James Stewart

Could switch 1 and 3, but that would have been cool to see how they'd stack up given enough time to get into some sort of shape.

I think its for a great cause, but Ronnie should keep his antics to a minimum on this World stage. Everyone will always know where they are on the track because of that sweet 2T sound.. and smell. The team will definitely get a lot of attention, which will help the cause.

GL now gets to use Travis Pastrana in his adverts. He is more popular than Roczen, Herlings Tomac and AC combined. I think he would let them do what ever they want as long as Pastrana is there.

Maybe this has been discussed already (haven't had time to read 4 pages of comments).

How will Jimmy A enter a 20 year old two stroke in the MXdN? Aren't there basic safety/inspection rules that prohibit old and out of date machines being used?

Or would they all ride modern 4 strokes?

A bit surprised by some of the reactions on here. Especially the ones doubting TP199's abilities. Also, there is no way Ronnie Mac is going to do anything stupid during the race. The character is a just a joke, Jimmy is very professional and no way he would do anything to belittle such an important race.

I think TP199 just wants to race MXoN again (as i believe he even stated so in some recent interviews if i remember correctly) and the charity thing is just an excuse to race. So I believe (and hope) that he will train a good amount before hand to prepare and really put a fair amount of effort into the race. Same for Sipes and Jimmy. Ronnie is racing instead of Jimmy simply because Ronnie is more popular, but I fully expect to see Jimmy on the track not Ronnie.

Overall I'm ok with it, as the whole Puerto Rico thing is kind of a joke anyways, so mind as well use that to get more exposure and add even more entertainment to such an awesome event. I don't see it taking anything away from the event, but that just my $0.02.

I think some of the teams that sign up are safety hazards.

That would be cool, but I guarantee you none of them want anything to do with it.

It's reality man. I love Pastrana but let's be realistic here. He's not going to do any good at all. He will probably be around last place in his Moto. Jimmy and Sipes could be mid pack or better. I could see either of them taking 15-20th.

I didn't say it wouldn't be fun to watch him. I'm just saying he's the winkest link. He isn't going to do very well. The other two will do decent and be fairly competitive. That's all I'm saying. If you don't agree that's fine. But you'll be sadly disappointed.

"Motocross is not supposed to fun"- The FIM.
Ride for fun, race to win.
Puerto Ricans can do both

Questions I have,
1. Will the Screamin' Eagle make the line-up?
2. Will Ronnie have a full chin guard on his helmet?
3. Will MXGP shut this down?

As silly as it may look, go look at the comment section on that video. I damn well guarantee you that Puerto Rico's pit area will have 3 times as many people as team USA or France or any other at all times during the event. People are gonna go apeshit over this.

Whoa, some of you are really sensitive.

I am 100% sure Jimmy will be Jimmy on the track. Ronnie will be a pit circus as usual, dude's a grown up man, I am pretty sure he knows where to draw the line.

Travis and Ryan, simply awesome. I am certain they will be ready to kick ass, so will Jimmy.

Go team Puerto Rico!

Taking a knee during the National anthem is disrespectful, but racing against your countrys team while representing a nother countrys flag is about the most disrespectful thing a rider can do. Now in this case we have 3 American riders racing to raise money for an US territory. They know that they will not qualify and have no chance of effecting the results of team USA and they will donate all money to a nation in need. I can support this cause.
You do realize that Puerto Rico is part of the United States? Any American can simply hop on a plane and fly there with no passport or customs check required. Other than an island, it'd be no different going from California to Texas.

So they are racing FOR the United States. Not against it.

Yes, because everyone with a differing opinion on this issue is an overly sensitive pussy...

Or, and stay with me here, maybe we don't think the MXoN should be turned into the equivalent of a Monster Truck Rally?

I'm all for having fun and making a joke out of literally any event on earth except the MXdN. Ronnie Mac is perfect for the US Nationals, US Supercross, Red Bull Straight Rhythm and Monster Cup events. Just not the most historic event in our sport that is seldom on US soil. Huge black eye for Rick Johnson for his involvement.
