Your favorite bike?

1978 xr75~ The moment I fell back on the throttle and crashed through the neighbors shrubs wearing a Packer helmet and mom's gardening gloves motorcycles became my passion. I was in more trouble for riding the motorcycle than ruining the schrubs. It was their son's bike and my parents hated motorcycles. I did eventually own that bike, that was the test ride.....bought it with grass cutting money and chained it to a tree near where we road so my parents would not find out. Infected with the bug at age twelve.

02-04 YZ 250's, I have owned the aluminum frame one's, But I just love those steel frame ones !!!
I just bought a mint 02' a couple of weeks ago. Damn that is one sweet riding bike! After years of riding those uber-stiff aluminum perimeter frames, this thing is like riding on a cloud. FMF Fatty, 9oz flywheel weight, V-force reeds, it is damn-near the perfect bike for this old man.

While the jury is still out on the YZ, I'd have to say my favorite bike of all time was my 84' CR250. Yes, it had headshake that would strengthen your relationship with God, and the powerband was a bit explosive, but man I loved racing that thing.

I've played that course, that explains a lot why I couldn't ever make my putts. Was all the invisible lines left by hammertime..

2005 WR 450 I've had so much fun on this bike, I would say that this is my favorite bike.

if you really love that bike...how about touching the valves? the BIKE would love it. of course if you are checking them and they don't need...

They were still within spec at 16k miles, I'm gonna check them again here soon. There's a drz400 on thumpertalk with over 80k miles and its still on the original piston/rings

I'd go with my 1st bike, 1979 XR80! I'd love to find a nice one to put in my office...

As a side note I bought a new '01 YZ250F when they came out and HATED that thing! Got so frustrated trying to start it I put in neutral and pushed it down a huge hill...

Could've used a custom sleeve and custom cut Arias drag race piston for a 640cc cafe racer.....Shocked

My '89 RM125 - Got my first hole shot on that bike, was the coolest feeling going into the back section of the track and only hearing my bike. This was back when there was full gates so it was an erie feeling not hearing anything else. I actually thought they might have red flagged the race or something. This picture has my '90 I picked up when the '89 (in the background) broke a power valve and parts weren't going to be in in time to make the next race and had to keep my point total up in the quest for a 125C championship! - ended up finishing 2nd in points should've saved my money...

My CR80 from 98 hands down that thing was so awesome how it handled and turned you could just turn on a dime never got swirly and the throttle response was unbelievable.

next best thing i owned must be my RMZ 450 from 2008 and i still own that one it is time to trade her in for a newer bike though

My 99 KX 250 was my favorite. I liked it so much that I sold my 2004 WR 450 and restored a 2001 KX 250. The 01 is much nicer, but just not the same. Thinking about getting a 14 WR 450 next.

My 2007 KX450. Bike was incredible. I gelled with that bike beyond belief. Since I was injured pretty bad and the end of the season I never connected with anything after since that injury slowed me down big time. till I got my 12 . awesome bike
13 even better but my 13 belongs in a museum . But never rode anywhere near as good as I did on that 07. Rode it back to back with my 09 and I was 3 to 4 seconds a lap faster on the 07 !!!!
