Pala Raceway. I hope the rumours of a reopening are true.

We just rode Millville South Jersey today. Not no where near the amount of people ride there, but it's still all the same.
Whoa, where is this place, now that I am out in Pa. I tend take the kids to a friends property in West Virginia, or a 2 hour trip to Tower Cities, of course that comes with a massive membership fee and only open seasonally. Would love to find something, south jersey would work as I am coming from the Valley Forge area.

I am guessing (I have not been) it is New Jersey Motorsports Park, the place with the road racing tracks.

Soil should be decent year round, unless you get a real hard freeze.

Mine by far is Bean Canyon, Hanna's parents owned alot of property out there as well and it was fun riding on whats left of an old track he used to practice on back in the day. A little landmark that still brings a smile to my face is smiling rock on the way to where we would camp there when doing over nighters.

The loop is always fun, riding up Whites Trail and then eventually coming down through the woods to the watering hole. Stickers and chachkies left from riders of old left there.
I ride Bean a LOT. I owned 40 acres off of rosamond. Getting ready to by 2-1/2 acres off of 170th and Rosamond next week, just for a legal place to park. I rode Saturday and Sunday after the rains, it doesn't get any better than Bean, that's for sure. There was a lot of snow on the slide, made for a schetchy trip down, but no carnage... Lol

Back in 83 to 94 it was the Contee sandpits in Laurel Md. Had my best rides there from 90-92 on my yz250. That place had everything, hills you could launch stupid air off of, bruised the bottoms of my feet a couple times jumping too high on my IT200, different tracks, trails etc. Never was legal but I never had any problems myself.

I know using this forum to go riding with other members instead of arguing is a foreign concept to you, but I think you'll get used to it. Smile

Does anyone know where RV and that whole crew were riding a few weeks ago? That little track in the valley looks amazing!

Actually i ride the old famous 100 ft hill area. So many moto pits & trails that never end. It's still all the same except you have to have someone's house to park at. Barry Carsten, J-Law, just to name a few always rode there. Now the Lafferty's are the only ones out there that are fast.

One of many south jersey pits. There is at least 10 different track layouts in this one pit. Many fast guys put lots of laps in this pit.

Yo man you know that they plowed the field by the 215? It's all fresh, after the rain it will be sooooooo good.

I second Bean Canyon ! Best place after a good rain. Very diverse, tons of hill climbs and homemade tracks. Bob Hannah would approve ! Can be a bust though, if you don't have a piece of private land to park on.

My favorite, without question: Caineville

My favorite local spot, because of the work I put in: Southern Idaho. Me and one other guy built every jump there with shovels. It gets destroyed by quite a few riders, but maintained by me and this other guy.

The other guy that helped build everything
