Didn't they claim this was the lightest 125 ever. Like 165 lbs. or something?

This is one of the best, if not THE best, looking factory bikes, imo.

Call me crazy but I would love to feel what a PC Factory/Works/Whatever you call it Super mini for AC or JS feels like. Mumfords 150...

Mumfords 150 was also pretty trick from what I remember.

You mean this one?

All these are pretty good also, but it all makes me sad.

I would say the early 80’s factory Honda’s. Growing up in Simi Valley, the great Johnny O’ was my moto hero. A works Honda was the most beautiful piece of art work I ever saw.. and to this day with all the works bike that have come and gone.. its the last of the true “factory” bikes.

The last of the true factory bikes may have ended in 1985 in the US, but not in Japan!

The 1999 and 2000 Japan RC250M's;

Wasn’t there a late model RC250 in Japan that was using a prototype 4th generation frame before Honda abandoned the 2 stoke completely?

Yes, but look at the 2nd gen RC250M above and you see a prototype 3rd gen frame.

And then on the 2003 and 2004 RC250M pictured below, we have a 3rd gen RC250M with a 4th gen frame that never made it to production. HRC had this this 250cc engine making 58 hp! This is Katsuya's bike and it looks like he switched back from the 51mm Showa works fork the riders were running in 2000 and 2001 to the 49mm Showa works fork...

That’s what I was looking for!

I did notice the 3rd gen frame on the second photo. Those Japan works Honda’s are so awesome. And a 58hp 250 sounds like a damn good time!

Performance and riding wise it would have to be the newest factory KTM MX2 bike. Eye candy/nostalgia? Reed's 04 YZ250.

Current HRC 450. No bikes have been better then now so I’ll take the newest and most tech bike I can get. Or if I’m feeling old school a PC bubba 125

What are they gonna do with all the championship bikes?

For me I wanna have the bikes that riders STILL talk about...
250F has to be one of Mitch’s bikes.. he was crushing it in this era

250 2 stroke: the way Reed and Matthes talk about this bike, must have been pretty damn amazing

450: if you listen to any Chad Reed interview ever he always talks about the 12 Honda, he still thinks it’s better than current factory bikes.. would love to try that probably the most!
