Hard to tell much about a track on tv compared to being there and I will be the first to praise a good track but Atlanta was one of if not the worst track I’ve ever seen in the last decade or maybe ever. It was awful design, awkward jumps and little opportunity for passing. I hated it. Frankly a little sketchy and dangerous also.

Nice to see coop win again and bagget did good.

Field is deep man. Can win one weekend and be 5th the next. Great for fans. Again Atlanta track design really didn’t give an edge for anyone to pick a fast line and really move forward. Really did need to start up front in this race.

Ac was on rails tonight as well as ferrandis. They pushed hard on this track and it paid off.

Lot of guys played it safe tonight and didn’t push it probably because of how sketchy the track was.

Can’t wait for Daytona.

Thoughts?

The track was so bad that the top 3 guys stayed roughly within a second of each other for the whole race forcing everyone to ride perfectly.

Fucking track.

Lots of crime but also a great place to buy drugs. Decent job market.

Wouldn't suprise me. While we're at it why don't we add a jousting lane? That would spice it up a little.

I dont see how that was a boring race. Seeing the top 3 that close was awesome. Once again another edge of your seat night

I thought the track sucked tonight. The racing is very boring. Watch the 1990 Atlanta SX if you want to see what real racing looks like. I hope Daytona is a real race track and not more of follow the leader again.

Track was meh... starts are so huge right now, laptimes were pretty hectic.

I think Detroit had a few interesting things track wise, the triple before the finish being a hard option made for passes... the whoops were hard, made for passes.... the rhythms were kinda goofy so made for passes.

If the tracks set up that you can go wide and triple triple triple etc, it seems to make for a lot of follow the leader.

Another lame, one lined track. No passing opportunities.

My take away was how much of a badass MA800 is. Guy takes 2 years off, starts riding supercross 7 days ago, comes to Atlanta and finishes 16th. Wow. What a legend. So cool to see the 800 back in action!

Webb just makes it happen and Tomac cannot.

I know I'm in the minority, but I've either disliked or absolutely hated every track this year. There has been nothing creative or technical to any of the designs. Tonight was "technical" due to the dirt... Where was the rest of the dirt? Am I the only one who looked at the track and immediately thought they forgot a few truck loads? Every jump cut down. Hell, even the triple looked smaller than normal.

Who would have guessed Webb would win 5 (or more) races this year? He’s had one of the most amazing one year turn arounds I’ve ever seen.

9 rounds into the '93 season:
McGrath - 5 wins
Bradshaw - 2 wins
LaRocco/Kiedrowski - 1 win each

9 rounds into the '19 season:
Webb - 5 wins
Tomac -- 2 wins

Track was terrible, dirt was terrible. Riders were awesome as usual. No big injuries is a GREAT thing on that track. Cool to see Seely and Baggett get a heat win. Tomac came through the pack impressively after his terrible start. Webb is the real deal, so hard to believe his turnaround. AC was impressive. AP was impressive. Reed is a douche for that takeout. Forkner showed maturity. Sexton is in AC and AF's league. Osborne will get there. Sucks that Roczen had those injuries.

I was at the race and Plessinger looked really good until he went down in the sand. The top 3 weren’t stretching it out on him a whole lot and he was holding off Roczen until his tip over.

I was at the race and both mains had everyone standing. Great close racing. They knocked down the whoops and some of the rythym sections after qualifying. I love sand sections, being from Florida you learn how to ride sand. These guys are pros, challenge them with different obstacles. I’d love to see some right handers at the end of the start straight, mix it up some.

Only thing bad tonight was that there was no where on the track to make up time except the whoops.

Damn. That is dead on what I was thinking.
Brother from another mother.

It was impressive to see Seely get aggro in the first lap of his heat, then take off like a bat outta hell.

Roger DeCoster is the greatest single thing to ever happen to worldwide motocross / Supercross. Most every program Roger has worked on in the sport has resulted in great things.

WOW #2 and KTM bringing it!!
