Hawkstone park 2006/07 ?
Both dudes where ripping that day, be a dream to see these two back there together again. There English has improved massively aswell
To see these two riders battle for a 450 title in the GPs or nationals is something i somehow still dream of witnessing. It would be amazing.
Current fleet of two wheeled vehicles:
- Yamaha YZ450F 2020
- Suzuki GSX-R 600 K7 track spec
- Canyon Sender CF 8.0 2018 Downhill
- White GX Pro 20 Gravel
Sure wish Herlings would of came over when Ken did. Would love for him to come race over here.
Pretty sure it was 2009, this was a European round at Hawkstone Park before it merged with the GP's. Roczen turned pro in April or whenever his birthday was. Herlings first pro race was for the Netherlands at the MXON's in Italy. Christophe Charlier won the European title that year.
Yea, there were some "tension" on the track between searle and Herlings back then. Herlings was like 16-17 (?) and really cocky. Malin had to appologize for bad language after every other podium interview lol

That's right 2009 the video was filmed at Hawkstone. Not sure where I got 07 from.
Then Roczen won the MX2 in 2011 rivalling Herlings
2012 Herlings won the title to Searle.
Years have flown by and I'm younger than them both !
Cool vid- even if they did misspell Herlings' name at the beginning!
It's impossible for a corporation or government to love you or care about you.

Man that is a great video! For many reasons, such as the horror movie cinematography, the Europop-punk, and seeing those guys so young (even though it seems like just yesterday).
Herlings is a monster. Just want to say after watching this it just makes me pull even harder for Ken Roczen to overcome his injury. MX needs him. Tomac and Musquin and Webb need him.
