Watching those guys as backmarkers in the highlights was SCARY. I'd like more intel on their bikes and how they made the cut. There's no way out of a billion people these are the best in China lol.

Woah, two Chinese "KTM" pilots in the top 20. I wonder what the KTM factory guys think about seeing those things listed under their brand Laughing

Well fuck, if they come back to Thailand, I'm gonna have to try and put the Stars & Stripes in the show!

MXGP should implement a rule that you can't score points if you don't complete a certain percentage of the race. Sorry, but you should not be scoring points towards the World Championship for finishing 6 laps down.

thailand is way more advanced as far a motox goes compared with china.

and well fck, finishing behind a bunch of them might not make you feel so superior and push you out of the points..555

Mr Peng deserves a permanent number for that effort.

You seem to have taken my comment as a diss on the Thai mx scene. Not sure how "try and make the show" was interpreted as "I'm superior and will score points" but that's cool man. Sorry for touching a nerve. Simply thought it'd be rad to participate in a MXGP event, especially as the sole US rider.

They shouldn't even need the rule. MXGP should not create a situation where the product involves a guy scoring points while 6 laps down.

I look at that race as 17 GP regulars (and Tonus crashed out on Saturday).

The MXGP points scale is the same as what we use here, but the fields are often much more limited in size. During the summer here, if you're racing around midpack, you may not score points. Actually, a lot of privateers here struggle to get any points during the Nationals.

Those privateers would (and do) make the rest of us look like goons at the local track any day of the week.
