Insight for the modern day fan as to why one of the most revered riders of all time never won a big bike title! Damon lost his mind to anger while on the track too often especially when the Chicken was racing. It was really a shame because Bradshaw was truly a beast!

Time has changed. The equivalent gate nowadays would be impossible. In fact the AMA top 5-7 plus Pourcel, Musquin, Roczen. Xavier (Audouard) would have to sell his body like for ever to afford this, lol...

Really someone thinks todays riders are rough? How about anytime DeCoster and Hannah were on the track in 76'ish. Ok maybe it was just Bob.... I remember seeing knobbie marks all over the side of a Suzuki and a pipe mashed flat. The battle of New Orleans where the whole gate was trying to take out Pierre"Pepe"Karsmaker. Heck you can even put Hannah and Howerton in there too. When the AMA went to warn Hannah about aggressive riding he told them next time he gets near him he'll break his leg. The famous photo Jammer Weinert and DiStefano. Not even as far back how about Johnson and Lechien, Kiedrowski Larocco. Remember history doesn't start with your generation. This new group of tough riders allows a 47 year old part timer to show up at the roughest track and beat two thirds of them? Me thinks JT should bring back the pink gear.
