If I was not hurt in that I think I would have kicked that guy right in the balls.

That could've been way worse.

A guy I grew up with broke his neck that way during an arenacross when a guy in the next lane messed up on a jump and landed right in front of him coming the opposite way.

There are a number of people on this board that would defend that move. mx/sx is not a sport for p-----'s. there has to be rubbing in racing or you're not trying hard enough. The kid just crashed off the track and was in a hurry to regain his rightful
place in the race. You have to respect his HEART and his 110 % effort. While there are a few of us on here that think one is capable of making stupid decisions when they aren't necessary.

Actually I read on the other board he was scrambling up the jump to warn riders of a downed rider further down the track, point being you don't ride/race backwards on the track, that guy he hit has a broken foot and fucked up bike now. And thank his lucky stars he didn't hit the kid on the 85.

From the look of it the downed rider before the next corner is well in view after landing the table top. Fair enough the guy wanted to warn the riders coming that way but guessing he didn't think what he was doing.

Glad we have marshalls at the tracks i practice at.

Yeah, watching it again, you can see the crash ahead, and that he's trying to get to a place where he can alert oncoming riders.

Good idea, but really, really, bad execution.

That happened to me at Saddleback, me and a couple friends made a little track up in the hills on the back section, and i came jumping down this downhill and a girl on an old xr 250 came struggling, barely making it up the hill as i came jumping down, slammed into her and went over the bars, i was really pissed, but was more worried if she got hurt.

Thats why I went to the jr class before ever winning a begginer race. Had way too much stupid shit like that happen. I guess it happens at all levels though.
How hard is it to understand that you don't go the opposite way on a track EVER. Especially on the landing of a blind jump.
Bubba has a wild style, but if you saw him crash at that race where Villo didn't qualify, the first thing bubba did was get up and make sure no one was coming. Then he got his ass off the track.
