Do you keep all your old tickets from Supercrosssssess and AMA Nationals ?

Well, do you ? What's the oldest or weirdest you have, in your motoribilia collection ?

*As an aside, and bonus inquiry, do you ever open your truck door at local races to shield you - while you pee ?

Well, do you ?

Normally I don't keep tickets. I found ond of the MXdN 2006 in my car when I cleaned it after I sold it tho.

In Europe we don't pee behind the car doors, we pick a tree.
Along the highway we pee out in the open facing the cars passing by.
Ask Kardy about it. He had his first wide open pee experience in France last summer.

Do that in the good ol USA and you will be a registered sex offender before you can say give me liberty or give me death.

But then I tend to save odd things...like 20 years of AMA membership pins..

Hahahahaha, yeah I know.
US law enforcement has no sence of humor.
I bet you're a sex offender when you're streaking at a sports event in the US.

Yea the whole peeing in the open thing is kind of weird for sure.

Back on topic, the oldest memorabilia of moto I have is a t-shirt from the 81 USGP at MidOhio when Oshow won in the mud on the Mugen.

I saw a race there in the mid 80's when I was a kid, the trans am track was really cool tucked back in the park and going to the hillclimbs every year was a blast there too. My dad and his buddies pioneered Carnegie before it was a state park he met a guy that owned the land and asked if they could ride there, they created 90% of the hillclimbs still there today. I grew up riding there as akid and am glad I got the opportunity to ride there when it was perfectly tacky there was no better place .... Actually have my name carved I. The communications tower at the top of the park .... Did that almost 20 years ago....love that place except for having to use a spark arrestor. You can still find bricks from the old factory all over that place.

Yeah...that "peeing behind the door" trick doesn't work as well when your truck has a lift kit!

I've got Lakewood '84 and Honolulu SX '87/88 stubs somewhere.

Not many ticket stubs, but we sure packed em in for the 71/72 Indian Dunes and Carlsbad TransAm races. They never considered it odd only the driver needed a ticket. Really big cupboards and closets in this Sunbeam Fun Wagon!

Be careful what you do outdoors. A google maps car might catch you in the act. Tongue

If I do nothing else in my life, be it known that I started an inquiry that led to a Sunbeam Fun Wagon pic.

High five everyone, dig your pics, love your memories.

FTE ? 1971 ? I was 12. A rowdy 12. 12 nonetheless.

First big race I attended was the San Jose SX in 1995. MC and Emig oooozed so much style in the practices! I also have wristbands from Washougal 96 and 97. Not that old but watching Henry and Larocco bounce off each other repeatedly while flying up horsepower hill on the last lap for the lead will forever be a great memory!

I threw away just about everything one day when I was angry, but my wife found a pit pass and a participant sticker for the 82 Superbowl of Motocross in a box.

Cleaning in a fit of anger does make for a nice clean uncluttered garage, with many regrets later.
