Yellow tires (Pirelli?)

Anyone know why these were tested by a couple of riders a year or so ago? Why yellow, and have someone used them while racing?

If you're thinking about the yellow Pirelli tires that 22/JGR had at Vegas then those were promo tires that wasn't available to buy. Michelin used to make yellow tires tho, they were horrible. I believe they had a camo tire too! Totally bro.

Yeah I know Michelin had a couple of colored tires. So it was just for marketing purpose to have those yellow tires.. figured it coulda been something else.

Only thing they tested is the public's appetite for ugly piss yellow tires. Conclusion: don't run yellow tires unless you're a clown, wearing a clown costume, and with clownish intent doing clown things.
