Yank in MX2

All the RVin MX1 got me thinking. Who from America could, would or should give the GP circuit a try in MX2? And of course how do you think they would do? I know a few have tried in recent years.

We already have one: Thomas Covington. Looks like he was 2nd in the quali race?

Martin, AC, Webb, etc.

All of our top dudes would do well in MX2, I'm not sure they could beat Herlings though

Covington did the same last year,holeshot and got 3rd,kinda dropped off the radar after that,especially when returning to to Euro tracks but still extremely talented,O'Mara is mentoring him and backs him as having huge potential (overshadowed a notch by Biscigelia as amatuer?) He would have larned a lot last year and with some moving up should do well this year

I'm pretty sure his Qatar result and comments on the track etc confirmed the thought that RV would win here,combined with him being pretty incredible anyhow

I was watching the live timing earlier today and was impressed with his ride of course. I didn't know anything about him and learned he was a top amateur; won the 250B modified class at Loretta's in 2011. Pro rookie year was 2013.
