You mean the day when no one would notice Alessi was even there thanks to this great bike?

Ya because that had nothing to do with Alessi being on the inside of him going into a right hand corner. You can see where AP let’s off. Come on Tony...

Just curious, I wonder how much Eddie paid Mike for this marketing attempt...didn’t he pay 30k at the GH 2T event?

Imagine how big of a holeshot he would have had on the 450.

Close. If Alessi had Bower's 500.

Alessi is so irrelevant that you could put him on a rocket ship and he wouldn’t have gotten mentioned...come on

He’s the last guy that should be representing a two-stroke

Maybe one day you'll realize you aren't doing ESR any favors with your horrendous "marketing".

Didn't he find a way not to pay it? Didn't have the right sticker or didn't buy it from the right person

So from being at the race, it looked like he pretty much mailed it in after the first lap of each main

So you mean to tell me one of the best starters in the history of the sport out started a notoriously not so great starter?

Haven't we known for years that proper starting technique is more important than power? (Generally speaking of course, obviously proper technique on say a 65 isn't going to make up the difference in power against a 450)

Welcome to Alessi Supercross 101.
I remember jeff saying he wouldn't try in the 6 lap heats so he could save himself for the LCQs. And then roll the track if making the main (note - I couldn't blitz a set of SX whoops if I was given a million $, so not saying it's easy)

Geezus Tony, give it a rest would ya. Love him or hate him, Mike Alessi was one of the sports best (if not THE best )
"Holeshot Artists" ever, and as much of a 2-stroke lover as I am, it appeared obvious to me that this ESR 325 in no way could compete at that level. So if I were you I'd back off your ridiculous chest puffing, its just silly and embarrassing.

Wrong, Carlin Gardner cashed in on that race with a moto win and second overall if I remember right.

I’m a die hard 2 stroke lover, but even I know what really happened during the starts.

Dude, no joke! I swear, if I ever get motor work done for my next YZ250 I’m not sending it to ESR just because of Tony.

I digress...when was the last time 800 pulled a hole shot on any bike in SX? Tell me when? He WAS the greatest starter of all time...hands down...but that ship sailed so to judge a two stroke off of that is apples to oranges. Truth if you like it or not.

I agree and would like to add Alessi beat a lot of 450s!
