Does anyone knees bother them after riding the latest generations?? 2014-current

I love the bike, my only issue is getting bruised knees after i ride from gripping the Tank(beneath the seat, between the sub frame rails kinda where the sub-frame mounts to the frame area).

Does anyone else have this issue, if so, how did you solve this issue?

I do not believe in using Knee Braces.. so i dont wear them.

2014 to current? They bike changed in 17' and again in 20' If I'm not mistaken. What year are you riding?

seems to be an issue with every bike due to technique. spend a couple bucks on sleeves

Do you wear knee braces?
I did 7 years of my racing career riding without braces... had my knees blooding after every ride.
Now that i use them no problems at all.
Maybe a riding technique problem.

14-18 are the exact same frame. Bike was changed in 19. Fox sells knee pads that are also shin pads. I wasn’t a fan of braces and I used the pads. They work really well

I do not wear Knee Braces.

Also, i notice it more when i am aggressive, and riding over the front of the bike..

(I try to get really neutral with the bike, Think of a shitty roczen or Ryno and thats me.)

2018 was first of new model.
2020 uses same chassis (with minor frame/brake updates + new engine head)

The 2 supports on my bike are polished from my pants rubbing that area when I grip with my legs. I could see that area bruising a knee. I wear braces tho.

My inner knees used to bruise on every bike before I got braces. So much movement on the bike I would always end up whacking a knee somewhere.

14-17 is basically the exact frame. 2018 came the new, and current, generation.

I wear knee protectors (not knee braces) with a thick foam taped on the inside of the protector. Never had a bruise on my knees after that

LOL

"I get bruises on my knee's"
"I do not believe in wearing knee braces"

We identified the problem. Wear knee braces.

No he didn't. But it doesn't matter, since he did stipulate '17. And the '17 250 and 450 are the same chassis.

You may not believe in them, but they really do exist. You can pick them up and hold them in your hands, even!

I have these weird permanent bruises mark deals from riding a 19 all last year it’s really weird, I would run 2 classes for 2 days and my knees and legs would be so sore Monday, I finally cut up and taped some hip pad inserts to my knee pads which barely helped but took the edge off

I also caught the top of my boot on the bottom of the shroud a few times, scary
