Is there anything cheap I can do to make my 2008 YZ85 faster and have more power?

Come on man, be serious. First he has to put gas in the tank.

I can't tell if op is serious or not. Based on his previous posts where he asks pretty much the same questions, I'm thinking paid poster.

What do you consider cheap?

Parker, in thinking about this, and knowing you are looking for "cheap upgrades," I believe you should consider installing some luscious red spoke skinz on your YZ. Spoke skinz smooth out the aerodynamic barrier your spokes encounter as you go fast. They're not expensive and they're easy to install. I'm told the red spoke skinz mod will add 3 MPH to your top speed and more grunt off the bottom. Problem solved.

Mill head a little for a little more compression, jet it crisp and use oxygenated fuel.

Harry, the red spoke skins slow it down 2mph. I’m alternating white and blue spoke skins and it increases it by 5

By the way, this is good advice and shouldn't cost much more than $100.

I want to buy a wiseco piston, but not sure what mm fits. There is a 80” 40” and 20”. Which one would fit?

Assuming your bike is in proper working order, spend the money on rider training. It will make a bigger difference in your speed and confidence than trying to make the bike faster.

Use the maximum allowed octan level fuel and mix it up with quality two stroke oil. In Europe I would tell you to use Vrooam because they don't give their two stroke oil any collar. That makes it faster when mixed, but also you need to keep up to date about what is already mixed and what isn't because you can't see it.

Also most people will talk about engine modifications, but a good handling bike can make you fast! So if you know someone who can help you dialing in your suspension like a pro you could already make lots of progress.

Bud Racing - HGS Exhaust System: $229.00 + $129.00
Piston Kit Bud Racing: $88.00

Sometimes you can also work with a Pro Circuit pipe and a HGS silencer or the other way around.

I'd suggest the blue one... but it really depends what color power band you have installed. Never, never match colors.
