Any idea what year rear calipers will fit on an 05? If I'm going off part numbers, it doesn't look like there's much crossover from other model years. But vital tells me the yz250 has gone unchanged since the cold war.

I don’t remember exactly what year, but they did change the axle size at some point.

Swingarm was changed in 2002, which I think is when the axle got changed.
05 + Should fit, however I am not 100% sure. Part numbers change on the caliper itself, but everything it bolts to has not. Perhaps changes are made to caliper, but they should still fit?

Honda brakes also fit the front if I am not mistaking.

The axles are the same between 2002 and 2010. I have both bikes in my shop. The four strokes got the larger axle in 2009.

The trouble is the calipers and carriers (front and rear) changed in 2008 on the two-strokes.
My 2010 brake assembly won't fit on the 2002 swing-arm.

I believe the 2005 brake stuff is the same as 2002 - 2006 (any full size YZ or YZ-F).

The 2003+ has a different rear brake master cylinder than 2002 or older models. 2003 was the first year with the integral fluid reservoir.
