YOUR RED BUD Motocross Des Nations Travel Plans ?

Me, my wife & my buddy will be driving up from Pittsburgh. Probably staying in a hotel an hour or so out. This will be my 2nd Des Nations (1st was 2007 @ budds).

I’m gonna walk downstairs to the theater room, that tv is about 25 feet from the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel and Shiner beer filled refrigerator in the garage!

Oh I’m definitely gonna have a beer or seven with Rup-Dogg.

Flying into South Bend Indiana on Thursday, camping in a friend's RV, commencing with American moto debauchery, flying out Monday.

My best friend and I are going. Coming up from Texas. We’ll be there all day Saturday and Sunday. I’ve been to Red Bud for the National but never been to a de nations. I am very excited!

Still sorting it out but if I can pull it off....

1) 2nd time at des Nation (I went to Namur in 2001)
2) 1st time at Red Bud (if I can swing it)
3) flying from NorCal - presumably to Midway #southwestairlines
4) possibly sleeping in rental car at the track (don't want to miss any of the action)

Heading up on Saturday from southern Indiana. About a 6 hour drive. Last time was there was 1992! Staying in a hotel in Niles.

Flying over from UK. Should be about 4 or 5 of us. Staying in a Hotel nearby. It will be my 11th MXdN but my first in the US. I can't wait to get there and experience it. Red Bud looks like an unbelievable track

We’ve got 5 of us flying outta Humboldt in Norcal to Chicago, hopefully renting a sweat minivan and driving straight to lot B where our rent an RV will be waiting for us.

Lots of American flag apparel has already been rounded up.

Long story but .......

Red Bud is 750 miles 12-13 hour drive from York South Carolina. The MXoN is the 1st leg of my Las Vegas Motorcycle Trade show www.AIMExpousa.com 4500 mile trip. Crazy part is leaving from Buchanan MI Sunday evening and drive to Vegas for set up on Tuesday!

There will be 2 of us in the Moto Hose Box Van. Many time Lorettas racer and GNCC Pro Christopher Venditti will be traveling with me.

This will be a very special MXoN for me to attend since it is my home town and will be the 4th USA MXoN I have attended. Unadilla, Budds Creek (where I am right now) Denver and next Buchanan!

I am a Michigander and was born in St Joseph MI and I grew up 5 miles from Red Bud in Berrien Springs. In the late 60’s early 70’s as a kid I used to ride my bicycle past Red Bud and stopped in to drool on the CZ’s Maicos and Husqvarnanas. I learned to ride a couple other kids Hondas in MI but did not own or start riding till I moved out to MD in 1976. I came up for the Pro national and raced 125 B at Red Bud in 1979. Can not remember his name but at that race I watched a local MI rider who’s father was a DR that my mother worked with flying on a 125CR Husky. The next year I bought a new 1980 125CR from Red Bud shipped it me in MD. In 1984 I raced my very 1st Pro MX National at Red Bud and qualified In the 500 class.

Staying in New Buffalo, close to a casino, which is close to a fireworks stand.

VIP gold tickets. All paid for by casino visit.

First des nations but have been to red bud many times. Camping in lot A with 6 or 7 friends. Will be splitting dozens of beers

Born and raised in Mishawaka 20 minutes from the track so I'll be there. I've never missed a pro level race at RedBud and that includes when I was still in the womb. Currently age 32. First Des Nations tho. Staying at a buddies house who lives in South Bend that weekend. I saw enough in B lot when I was 12 before they gated it up. You are all going to be having the time of your lives. I'd love for a VitalMX meet up somewhere in Mishawaka or South Bend that weekend.

I'll be at Ironman next weekend as well. I'm still trying to wash the bad taste Washougal left in my mouth a few weeks ago. Nothing like Midwest MotoX!

Hopefully driving from Toronto (7 hours). Been to red bud national 3-4 times but first des nations. Will find a hotel an hour or so away from the track off the highway. Can't wait!!!

Leaving Friday morning, get there in the afternoon and set up camp in the B lot. Head home Monday morning. Can't wait! Never been to a MXoN before.

There isn't anything except general admin tickets left. No VIP tickets or camping left. Kicking myself in the ass.

Coming from Oklahoma going with some friends from Missouri along the way. Piling in 1 car me and my buddy and both of our sons 10 and 11. Have a hotel booked and have for quite some time. We however totally slept on the tickets and didn't get silver VIPs before they were sold out.
