Pull a little Zach on Joey action? Say moto 2 and the points are close due to a poor moto 1 by Zach? I guess at that point Zach could do the same to Adam too. We've seen Zach would, but given the chance would Adam?

Would AC punt Zach?

For a title, he should. Worked for Carard when he gave RV the boot.

Jeremy needs to do the same thing, because in that case there is no doubt Ferrandis would if the shoe was on the other foot.

He had the best chance he is likely to get and he locked them up to avoid it. Adam is super fast and seems like a great guy but he does not have a killer instinct out on the track, some may consider that a positive thing, some a negative. I can list quite a few champions past and present who would have used Osborne as a berm in that circumstance... Osborne is on that list.

Looked to me is if he tried to T bone him in last moto and completely mistimed it. Sure he said so on podium. AC is young and far from the complete rider but he can learn.

This thread was already answered last weekend.. if AC would have lit Zack up, he would have taken the OA, and perhaps put himself into the points lead going into this weekend...

But he did not.....

Shows you what kind of racer AC is.... he wants to win clean... Reminds me of MC.... would rather crush with raw speed, than put someone down for the win....

However....

Zack is a professional racer... he knows what it takes to bring home the title.... and if that means punting someone to the cheap seats (Joey) for the win, then that is what must be done...

It is soooo hard to even be in the position to win the 450 title.... so very rare... Zack knows that you gotta go for it 10000% RIGHT NOW if you want to actually win it....

The best part about the Zach winning the 250 title was that he went down in the first corner, now most riders would have just giving up and went back to the truck but Zach pounded out the laps and I bet no one not even Zach though there was any chance in hell to still win the championship but when he caught up with a lap to go EVERYONE was cheering and on their feet and I agree its the best SX moment ever. As a die-hard WackO-ZachO fan...I've seen days where/when AC is ON IT and he's won plllllenty of motos this year. AC is looks just as "strong" out there.

With that said, both of them seem to have plenty of respect for each-other and have shown it on the track.

I think what Zach has on the other guys is his "elder-statesman-like" risk management skills. Laughing

I hope there is some serious bar banging this weekend. AC needs to punt whomever (tomac?) It takes to make the points. AC needs to watch the JS17 takeout over and over and over again. This weekend is gunna be good.

Osborne's take out was a last turn , shit or bust, winner takes all, Championship move.. as has been said, thats what you have to do .

AC wiping out Osborne with 2 moto's to go when you are a shit load of points down , isnt the same at all.

This question could be interpreted in a few ways.

Is AC going to go in and kamikaze smash into Zacho, put him on the gound (maybe hurt him) to then almost guarantee that he wins it? No way.

If he has the opportunity to put a little extra sauce on a block pass, should the opportunity arise, will he do it? Sure, probably.
