Well the results of the open pro were a little er surprising....a bike that wins it hasnt been manufactured since 2007, I was rooting for a Husky win yet none in top ten ... sigh. Another interesting result, 2 TM's on top ten, good result for them. There were 50% more Hondas in top ten than KTMs!!!!

yeah i found it interesting to see that many cr250´s out there i have always thought that the late cr250 sucked but i have never ridden one, but there seems to be many guys prefer those bikes.

Gen 3 CR handles better than any bike I've ridden. I've rode 2017 KTM 350, 2017 CRF450, 2016 YZ250F, 2016 YZ450F and 2015 TC250 in the past year.

I've been saying that for years but the popular opinion refuses to die.

Maybe the winner has a bit of talent? That bike is dubbed #Craigslistkiller2 because it is the second 2 stroke that Surratt has purchased off of The website and won major races on. The Yamaha YZ 250 he won Mammoth on was the first.......The bike is jetted to perfection by his dad and the suspension dialed in by Enzo and the wrist-lock supplied by Ryan......If you want a ten year old bike to run and work like that, contact Terry Varner, Frenchie at C4MX and Enzo...... If you want it to go as fast as it did yesterday, better call #338

Interesting to hear. Getting ready to pick up a 17 CRF450r soon.

Not surprising to hear the 3rd gen AF 02-07 CR250's can still compete with modern 17 2t models. I've owned Suzuki's, Kawasaki's & Yamaha's. The 3rd gen Honda's are an exceptional mx weapon once set up right.
RC dominated on 02-03's & MC did very good on an 05-06 in SX against the mighty factory 4t's at the time.

Yep. Owned and ridden a lot of the new bikes, and my 06 corners just as good if not better.

That guy that got third (sorry don't recall his name) on the CR 500 was absolutely flying in the second Moto on what looked to be an old 90's model (though it's hard to tell if you know what I mean)

And add me to the list: gen 3 Honda's are some of the best handling bike's I have ever ridden.

His name is Brandon Scharer, he had a bad first moto but he rode like a fucking boss in the second moto to get 3rd. He was throwing the ol' 5 hunny around like a 125.

It was a blast to watch him wrestle that thing around the track.
