Hows doing Vital??

Enough with the Wilson threads already, how about some good content!

Been noticing that Chads CRF450 has Factory Showa suspenders but the stocker comes with kayaba

Prior to the new yz450f being a HUNK OF' ..all the factory yamahas had works kyb suspenders. My question is what is the difference between the two??

Feel free to correct me if im wrong but before factory honda stepped in chad was running A-Kit showa stuff.

Just keen on knowin the differences!

They have different stickers on the outside. This makes the Showas lighter because there is less letters...

I heard that Showa is harder to set up but once you get the right setting it is amazing. KYB easier to set up but. Not sure how it compares to the works showa stuff. If I'm wrong I will publicly apologize to both companies.

KYB = 3 Letters
Showa = 5 Letters...

I'd like an apology now for your arithmetic mistake.

Kayaba?

I've always thought it was weird that Honda owns part of Showa and runs them on the factory bikes but they come stock with KYB.

Only the latest generation of 450's do

the 250F is still Showa equipped as is the 150.

Not sure about the CRF trail bikes though.

Technical specs? Ok. I'll explain to best of my knowledge.
The long thingys go on the front of you bike, they go up and down in a springy kinda way, but they have oil in 'em. Apparently you can adjust them. or so I've been told.
The short thingy goes on the back, but attaches by some weird link thingy, don't have a fucken clue how it works. Or if it even does. Some say it's just there to add weight to the bike, acting as some kind of ballast. Apparently, in James Stewarts case, if he can see it, the bike is upside down after he has crashed for the umpteenth time in a SX race and knows enough to flip it rightside up again. This ONLY applies to James Stewart. I digress. The short thingy works in similar fashion to the front long thingys, but in a different fashion. Hope this clears this matter up for you. Oh, BTW, I believe something goes BETWEEN the two long thingys, to hold in place what is known as a "wheel". Should you require any further technical data, please feel free to consult with me. Should be unneccessary though. I've covered it.

You're new around here. Some day you will get it. You're lucky. No one ever even GAVE me one. Sorta felt like an outsider, unaccepted as it were. Too late now. Been around for a while. Plus, I got over it. I would say welcome, but then you'd start to think this a cool place to hang out full of cameradery, good will, fuzzy and warmness, wisdom, worthy exchanges of knowledge, and all that shit. Trust me, that ain't Vital. SORRY, wrong club!

Lol If that's directed at ME, Mark it's too late. I've been here long enough, I'm not a noob anymore. However, if you are offering that up because you feel it's the "right" thing to do, and you're a good all round guy who rides a CR500 like me, well then I graciously accept. Most kind of you, old chap.

i dunno if anyone saved it.

im pretty sure it got deleted from the Ddumbgeon pretty quickly.

it was like a 60+ item list of why the kid is a clown.

i dunno, maybe someone who saved a copy will read this thread and re-post.

im warning u tho, you gotta have a pretty dark/twisted/sick sense of humor to find it funny. i find it hilarious. but most were pretty appalled by ddumbasses sentiments
