is his 15 minutes are over ? I know he's scares the $hit out of me and I've never seen him land it.

He wasn't there this year Jay...I agree I was excited to see him gone. All those attempts and never could really land it, scary.

the dumb thing is how for the second time in history, the exact same trick that won gold for being "new" won another gold medal.

the judging at x is a funny animal.

that said, the judging in the Skate Street events was hit and miss as well

Events that are judged are not real events.

We're racers, not figure skaters.

seemed pretty classy for pastrana to step away from best trick and maybe give the spotlight to sinclair after what he has been through. I think he would have been there if he could have done the 720, but clearly he could have taken his double and had something for sinclair

The real story is Cam Sinclair. Go has temporary paralysis then has to learn how to breath, eat, walk and talk again. Then 1 1/2 later, nails a double back flip. The very same trick that almost ended his life. That to me is shear determination.

Agreed, though it could easily be classified as madness, stupidity, or anything along those lines too.

woah I didn't realize that was the same guy. I remember seeing that and thinking it killed him.

Glad he nailed it and got his gold. He deserved it.

Travis had won the Gold before he even rode onto the track for his 3rd and final set, i guess you were not watching when he did it. He did not have to do anything at all.He said he did it for the fans and for his mom who was there celebrating her birthday Pretty ballsy if ya ask me to pull that a trick when you don't have to do a thing.
But thats Travis and why everyone loves him.
