Love reed and he’s one of my favorite riders.. but damn man it’s hard to watch him have to race thru the lcq every weekend..

Me too. Better to burn out then to fade away.

Just hang it up and avoid the risk of injury.

I support him doing whatever he wants but this sport is too dangerous to go out and prove absolutely nothing and risk everything.

I heard rumors that he is approaching the record for most LCQ wins all time, so he is sticking around for that. Wanted most LCQ starts record too, but some sandbagging privateer has made that one impossible.Wink

Yeah, he was on a good pace in the heat, not sure what happened on lap 2 but he lost quite a few spots.

I was kinda feeling this way until I went to the race tonight. Really hit home seeing him ride around. Iam glad hes out there just having fun one last time.

Reed don`t need the money, he is doing it because he loves the sport, it is what he knows. He isnt doing it to impress all you keyboard warriors, he is one of the greats, who is going out when he wants to go out, everyone can be damned if they don`t like it.

I was happy to see he was much better this week than last week. I hate to see people talk shit about him when he is actually fighting hard and coming in injured. Im going to enjoy this last year from Chad no matter what. It will be nice to see the progress he can make trough this season!

Reed is a legend and doesn't need money ($50M+...), he is like the "fastest vet on the planet", a vet loving racing in his local series. When you race Lamborghini, money is not the first problem. FACT

Reed podiumed last year and was 7th in the standings prior to this mid championship pile up that injured him. FACT

This year : injured pre season/no winter preparation, private bike. FACT

Reed on Musquin's KTM and with a healthy winter at the baker factory ? I would say no less than top 8, possibly podiums. Why ? Because he outperformed all his team mates during the last 20 years. FACT

Now is it a bit disappointing he is getting lapped ? Of course it is a bit, but that doesn't remove all those FACTS Wink

Reed is a legend, he will never fade away. I think we should just appreciate that he's still out the racing and enjoy it as long as it last. The day he decides to hang up the boots will be a sad day.

Just enjoy the fact that he is out there. He’s one of the all time greats of this sport. Still in the Top 20 best SX riders in the world at 38 years of age. He’s had a fantastic career, and we should give him all the respect he deserves
