You know PC can build them, the factories have it all going on, will JWR be able to build a bike to Deans abilities.

You know Barcia is hitting the ground running.. I think it will take a while.

JWR got factory support for next year, so i dont see it being a problem.

Wilson's bike will be fine. Wilson will be lucky to crack the top 5. He's a great outdoor rider but he's not that strong at supercross.

Come on man, have we not already came to the conclusion that its not the bike its the rider? Especially in SX. when you have 250fs running the same lap time as the big bikes. I'd say as long as he has good suspension he will be ok considering he's on the kawi. Stock from what every tester has said that bike is good to go. I thinks its more of will Dean be good enough. I'm gonna say top 10 will not be a cake walk for him but he should be there. The field is stacked and I hope his fans doesn't start blaming the bike and just see its the field the rookie is up against. But JB51 on the other hand... BOOM top 3 in the series points at the end of the year for sure.

Like Reed for example, his below par factory backed equipment clearly caused him to crash out of the battle for the championship Huh

Dean is gonna kick some ass this year. Now that he is on a bike that fits him, he will not be at a disadvantage.

I'd also say that if I was any of the factory Honda guys, I would look at the teams recent track record and or "curse". I believe that team has had an empty semi-truck on numerous occasions. More often than not actually......

If you made it to the big time and were on a Factory Honda you would concentrate on negatives and superstition? Sounds like a bad plan,

WIlson's bike will be just fine, I think. JWR has everything a team needs. With the factory backing from Kawi and the established team and facilities they inherited from San Manwuel - that bike will be right on par with any factory machine.

Dean's bike should be just fine.

In today's world of really good suspension, it's more about time invested in setting the bike up the best it can be.

He May win the Supercross Crown. We seem to forget it is a 15-16 round title fight. Very few of the top riders come out intact. Look at this year for example. The champ must make it through Daytona, then the real racing begins. Heck who predicted Millsaps as the runner up this year. Brayton was right there also. Sure there are 5 or 6 favorites. Villo will be difficult to beat. Stewart is there, Dungey, Reed, Barcia, Wilson, Tomac should be there.
Just ramblin.

I think the team your on and the confidence is more important. When your on Pro Circuit you are at the top of the leagues. You practice with the fastest guys day in and day out so you know where your speed is and how to pick it up. It boosts your confidence so much. That is why so many guys have such good luck at Pro Circuit and falter on another team after that.
He's got mad talent. Hope he does well but the competition is very stiff.

I'm sure they know how to build a bike considering this team has won supercross championships before. This is the same team that chad reed and james stewart used to ride for.

I do not disagree with what you said regarding Wilson, but also I think the top 15 have pretty similar capacities, any good rider would deliver on the best bike & environment. I do not buy "the 450 engine is stock, there is enough power", etc

An example: just rank riders at every starts in a season, try to ponderate how much the gate pick counts on each track, then in the end you will see that most of the time the best bikes start upfront, and you know that starts count for 50% if you want to finish in the top 5.

Other example: why would AC222 use 3 engines per week end if it was all about the rider?

Bike will be good. But will Dean be ready to go? Hasn't raced in a long time. And to show up at A1 in the big boy class, just adds to the excitement of A1!

I just don't see Dean as a legitimate title contender in the 450 class. We'll see.

^This. We have this Factory being superior thing printed in our consciences based on something that happened two decades ago, while those winning lately (in the US at least) half have been on factory equipment (Dungey), and that was according to a many a lesser bike compared to anything that rolled.

I think Geico, and PC can really put a fork in this factory being so much better, and seems MA performing pretty well on something that one could feel is even less than a PC or Geico thing also proved a point.

So if Dean doesn't perform, I wouldn't feel comfortable to blaming his bike.

I think DeanO will come out on fire and shock a bunch of people. I think of all the guys who moved up to the 450 class this coming year he will do the best. Barcia is fast, I think Dean can match is speed and won't wad his brains out.

Deano, Rookie of the year in the big boy class.

Dean couldn't match his speed on the 250f, why will he on the 450? Not to mention Barcia already has way more race experience on the 450. It won't even be close IMO

Don't forget he is going to be training at Reed's place, I'd say thats good company... while they are still getting along Wink The bromance might be on the rocks if Wilson takes Reed out or something though.

Look at the size of him, he was like an ogre on the 250. Barica definitely has a head start on him, but he won't be in a different league I don't think.

Would be pretty epic to have a British AMA 450 Supercross Champion one day!

Hasn't this team won championships in the past?

Hard to see the bike not being top notch w/o factory support.

Wasn't Reed on a FACTORY HONDA last year? I thought I remembering hearing that he had the exact same bike as Canard and Brayton.....
