Coverage sucked. Only like 20 seconds of coverage for Dean's girlfriend. It should be like 10 minutes.

My thoughts exactly! Super pumped for Deano!
I hope this builds his confidence to reach for the next level.

First outdoor podium since winning 1-1 at Pala in 2011. Tough times for sure.

Just gotta keep building momentum.
I remember that day well. Deano was doing a humongous jump right after the last rhythm section before the finish line (more like giant whoops). Amazing.

Irregardless of what happens. This will definitely be an asterisk season.
As far as I know there haven't been any asterisk seasons? Yup just checked the record book, none

I used to be on the fence with Dean, then I lost a little respect for him during the Wilson/Tomac SX battle (I was actually glad he came out on the short end of the stick with Tomac), I then began to feel bad for him through all the injury seasons, but now, his comeback, and the way he went about it, riding on his own dime, earring factory Husky, and now a 450 podium, he's got a new fan in me. He seems to have become more humble and appreciates what he has. Keep climbing the ladder Dean, you've earned it.

Great to see Deano on the podium for sure. I think his main goal this season is just to get through injury free. He's doing a great job so far.

Lol, yea okay. You could use that every year, if you wanna play that game. Never saw that symbol in the record books

I am really happy for him. I feel like he has more to offer too but is keeping it in check because another crash would be real harmful to his career compared to a few results that aren't what he is capable of.

I'd like to see him string a few podium results together towards the end of the year and go into 2018 confident and healthy

He had that section dialed and actually helped us build that jump, he kept having us push it out a little further and further in the weeks leading up to the National.

If he can get back to the confidence level he had then, he will challenge for wins and titles again.

With you 100% on all points. That slamfest with Eli a few years back was just stupid and it's something that stuck with me. But he has been through so much, matured, bet on himself and gotten back to the podium. That takes some grit for sure. I really hope he can stay healthy, he has the talent to battle for wins and it would be great to see another guy up there in the mix!
