With races running longer in the season and riders coming back from injury in a delayed indoor and outdoor championship.

Who could it help or hurt?

As far as I know silk prices have been relatively stable up until this point, but given the elastic effect that supply chain issues have we could see a rise in prices starting mid May.

Edit: Well now that the thread title has been changed this isn’t nearly as funny. . .

Usually when money gets weird, middle management get booted. The guys in the middle that you don’t really need are the ones that get shuffled out.

I agree its crazy for sure, interesting thing is some contracts will be up at the normal time (1st or 30th Oct), so potentially a top tier rider could change brands during either SX or MX depending on when what is on at the time.

Helps any one who was injured. Webb, AC, and Jett to name a few.

Hurts your points leaders in each class allowing other good riders to recover and possibly take some points away. Will possibly make things more exciting for the fans though.

A restart of the season will likely feel like a second opener and could definitely hurt a rider who suffers from A1 jitters.

It is already the craziest season ever.

The silly season will probably be the same and a bit tougher due to the economy, as most sponsors have been impacted. I wonder if HVA will still have 3 rides for instance, or if Gas Gas will be there in 21 in sx).

I still hope it works for Ferrandis, I would really hate that he gets no factory ride like CP ... (different scenario i know, he just got screwed by RV - which makes me wonder if it has already happened multiple times, a champ' who doesn't want the lites champ in his team?)
