Would appreciate any practical advice for maximizing my experience... Meeting my cousin so there will be 2 of us in case that has any impact as far as advice.
A couple specific questions i have are:
* What’s worth bringing in/carrying vs leave at home?
* Trying to decide between VIP($200) and gen admission($70). Curious to hear about and past VIP experiences and if you feel it was worth the extra money. Also does anyone know if pit passes are included with VIP ticket purchase? I’d hope so given the cost of the ticket but I’m guessing not
* Worth spending the extra $50 for pit passes?
* Lastly and most importantly, if i go with general admission, where’s the best viewing area? I’ve been to the track but only to ride...
* Any/all other input either specific to Washougal or just in general is certainly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

If you enjoy photography at all, I'd recommend bringing your camera. When you walk the track you can get pretty close in some places & get some great pictures.
The Shop
Wear comfy shoes you don’t mind getting muddy. Even if the weather is nice, the bike wash areas get muddy as hell still. I’ve ruined a few pairs of vans tryin to jump over the rivers of simple green and mud water.
If you like to have a beer, they have beer gardens to drink over priced beer in.Lame.
One other quick question i forgot to ask for those who have attended in the last is what it’d Like getting in and out of there on race day? I’ve taken my bike down for a practice day so know it’s a fairly decent trek down some tiny roads to get in and out of there. I can only imagine what traffic must be like on race day. Curious how long it will take once i exit off 14 i believe it is and when best/worst times... I’d ideally like to catch some of the qualifiers/125 race if possible
I'd love to see a camera shot from the drop down side of horsepower hill looking up. Different camera angles really make the tracks pop.
Have fun!
Just read your previous post .. on Saturday try to be EARLY to the track. 7 or 725 am is not ridiculous... trust me !
It'll give you bout a half hour to scout the place before the days events start.
You'll be happier the earlier!
edit: VIP is not my cup of tea. It is a heck of a lot of money for what you get imo. As I said before I am there to go walk around all day and take it all in and I am not looking to be pampered
