If Eli is leading, Marvin in 2nd, and Anderson is playing "follow the leaders" closely behind, will Marvin "bunch 'em up" and try to force a mistake out of Anderson? In this scenario, it's Marv's only way to win the championship assuming he has the speed to stay in front of Anderson. This is for the championship so anything goes....let's see what you got Marvin, ignore the booo'ers and make it interesting!

Anderson has to finish worse than 12th? Its not a close chase like it was in 17. No point in trying. Anderson has to dnf basically. Marv would have a better chance putting his peg into andersons wheel

I think Marvin will go for the win and hope Anderson has trouble. I don't think that he will try anything stupid.

He could just do to Anderson what he did to Tomac. I mean it’s for the championship, no better time than that to “try and do my best.”

He sure will. If he was willing to do that two weeks ago for the main event will, he will certainly do it for the championship in the last round. He will take every opportunity he gets and if Eli leaves a gap, MM25 is going through it. Wouldn't you?

No team tactics are going to come into play here. KTM and Husky are *almost the same team.

Anderson is not as polite as Dungey. He would have no problem putting Marvin on the ground if that happened. I don't see Marvin using that strategy regardless.

This could be the time for Tomac to bond with Musqin if the opportunity presents itself....

I still have to give it to Black Diesel Bomber, he called it exactly how it played out and I don't think too many people agreed with him.

That's what I'm saying...if Marvin starts riding a wide bike and slowing Anderson he could get impatient and make contact with Musquin, potentially putting himself on the ground.

If I'm Musquin right now I'm hoping to get in front of Anderson and wait for him....how much money are we talking here for a Championship?

Banzai the first corner and cause a huge pile up would be his best shot

JA will be nowhere near MM on the track.

There's too big a points difference and KTM/Husky won't allow anything silly to spoil their championship weekend.

Unless Anderson gets taken out on the start, the 450 class will be a snoozefest of a race. Stamp it.

JA could play that game unless Marvin starts from behind....and then whammo, another Tomac donkey kick to the side of the 21....

I really hope we see some action, otherwise it will be a snoozefest like you mentioned.

I wonder if Savatge has any thoughts of squaring things up with Zack Saturday night?

Musquin played big part on why Tomac did not win the title last year. Tomac has two reasons to not let him win.

I dont think his own team would be that happy if he does that.

That would be epic. Where do they each need to finish to win the Championship?

How amazing it would be for Anderson to have abnormal problems again, leaving him salvaging points around 12th-15th while MM25 is leading, but about half way through, Tomac is in 2nd and catching MM25, leaving the option to give him a real shot at the title or make a “block pass” and destroy his front end. Oh the potential drama.

And I’d say little chance KTM/Husky encourage their riders to play cat and mouse with each other.

Savatgy comes to the gate for the main with metal guard plates and reinforcements making it look like something off the set of Mad Max

Savatgy will crash himself before he gets an opportunity to mess with Osborne.

Can we get a percentage on how many races in the past 2 years Savatgy has went down in the main? It has to be upwards of 70% or more.

A cool mill buys a lot of cat nip. There is no way ktm loses the championship even if they both end up in the dirt so why not let marv and Anderson duke it out.

You are right. I was a total skeptic when he posted it during the week because I thought it was too far fetched. But when it started playing out during the main event, I couldn't help but think he gave Kawasaki the idea to try it!

One thing is for sure. Savatge won’t crash in the first turn and catch Osborne by the last turn.
Any “squaring up” would be more likely as Osborne is lapping him.
