Will Chad come back in 21?

He has been real quiet on social media all things car related.
Even during SX he was posting vids of him doing the sim racing etc.
Anyone know the status on it? If it’s fallen through maybe he will race SX again? Wishful thinking maybe?? Haha

I'm guessing he'll show up at a few opening ceremonies. He's seemed to latch onto the "I'm retired" since Salt Lake, like it finally started to sink in that he wasn't willing to push the envelope anymore.

Based on his tone in the Whiskey Throttle shows, I don't think so....at least as a full time rider. Actually, with no fans, I'm not sure what the point would be. I'd love to see him be able to do a farewell tour so the fans can say a proper goodbye, but if they're racing in empty stadiums again, what's the point?

If it’s a normal season I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns up at a couple of rounds, but a full season? No.

McGrath showed up for some rounds here and there...so CR22 probably will. Unless he has something better to do.

Remember when McGrath punted JS7 off the track on the start after Stewart had roughed him up in the qualifier?

Good stuff. I remember James saying something like, 'Why would a former seven time champion do that to me???' So funny.

By this point, he has to. He'll be 39 next season. With some good training, and the right bike, (yeah, that'll be the hard part...), why couldn't he tap into the top 10 at 39? Or 40? He's a good starter with the racecraft to match; his love for fanfare and attention guarantees a proper farewell tour, IMO.

Some younger eyes can probably id year of frame. It was powder coated on August 11th.
