I run a fantasy SX league with a group of friends. One of our bonus picks is for 15th place, at the end of the race the results on the broadcast had Mike Alessi in 13th and Justin Bogle in 15th. However, in the official results it lists Bogle in 14th and Alessi in 15th.
Don't want to start a "let's bash Alessi" thread, because I like the guy, just curious as to what happened and haven't been able to find anything.
It did make a difference in the 2nd place standings in our league, and in fact our results came down to the pass Reed put on Baggett on the last lap.

fuckin' Reed (even though i'm stoked about his finish i'm pissed about staying in last place)
I was at the race, and I watched both Mike Alessi and Vince Friese refuse to pull out of the racing line. Mike held up Alessi for 2 laps even with the AMA officials waving the blue flag frantically. Mike had many times to simply just move over for a moment (after the finish, down Monster Alley, yet would not. Tomac actually tried to park Alessi in the corner before the whoops, and forced Mike to roll around the whoops (Ala his brother) and threw up his hands as if he had no idea why Eli was being aggressive. Mike held up other riders as well but was particularly bad with Eli.
After the race, an AMA official ran over to Mike and they had a yelling match for a few minutes. I hate to be on the bandwaggon hate train, as I think Mike is a nice guy, but this year (in Boston and now Vegas) him and his bonehead teammate aren't helping their case. I was pulling my hair out watching this all happen.

Peely,...................I'm the one who got the benefit of Reed passing Bagget in our league, so I was pretty cool with it!
They always play possum, shrug their shoulders and say "what did I do? I don't know! It wasn't me, what?!" but there is no possible way you can cheat, do dodgy shit so many times and not know.

Seriously, don't want him to lose his win but the AMA inconsistency is ridiculous!
He is accelerating and committed for the jump as the light comes on. If you watch the video the light is not on in the frame before you shot your pic.
money, every effort should be made to get the calls right...
In Horse racing, no matter how small the race is, the results are not official till 5 minutes after...
So Joey didn't win this race, this was the championship race... Could you see this happening in the Superbowl?
