This is right out of the lead ban, so why the hell is there a ban on kids dirt bikes? This is so frustating.

over cautious but for sure who can blame them????
How about aluminum alloy engine casings. Those are pretty exposed. They are also one of the parts with lead.
On an ATV, the battery and its terminals are lead. The battery compartment is easily opened for serviceability. Is that accessible to a child in normal use/play?
You can see why the OEM's are concerned about the rule.
