Great job looks factory built. All these pit bikes take extra massaging to get it right. Good job though I really like it.

Many of the mods are already available and achievable. When pit bikes were BIG and dudes were throwing ungodly amounts of money at building these things up, putting KTM 65 forks on the front end of a KLX110 was/is a popular option to upgrade the suspension. Pax Racing sells bearing adapter kits to do so. This was an alternative to Marzocchi kits and KX65 front-end conversions when using a long travel swing arm setup. Disc brakes, again many guys are already doing this with parts from KTM 65's and KX65's. BBR used to sell disc brake kits but don't anymore due to the market. Next time you're on Google lookup "Big Mini's KLX110." They were one of the big companies back in the day doing this kind of stuff to minis and selling kits. There were a few orange KLX110 full mod builds as well. Pit Bikes are coming back, but people aren't building them up like they used to. That and all the old companies that made pit bike mods aren't coming back either. Back when I built up my 110 I remember going to the dealer and there was an entire section in the dealer book of pit bike parts from BBR, Two Brothers, Big Minis, Pro-Circuit, Sano, Red Baron, etc. KTM is not going to invest money into a pit bike that is going to become unpopular in a couple of years. Pit bikes were hot, then no one wanted to ride them around 08'. Now they are picking back up but will go out of style in a few years again. KTM will only invest in something that will provide consistent sales. You're better off buying one of the pre-built Chinese pit bikes like a Piranha and throwing orange plastics on it with some custom graphics. You'll be better off financially than building a $20k pit bike. If you're interested in some sick pit bike builds lookup Koby Bechor on IG. He's one of the dudes from back in the day that is still building full mod pit bikes.

I’m one of the guys from back in the days when We would definitely have to do a lot to get the pit bikes working correctly and not breaking down all the time. I did just order two new 2021YCF bikes in May. Just waiting for them to get here. Since Covid everything has been delayed but they are on the way. I bought one YCF BIGY 150mx and one YCF BIGY DAYTONA 190cc that has fully adjustable front and rear suspension.

Its' a converted KTM65. I do conversions of many different sized moto bikes and shifter karts. I do it mostly for fun, it keeps me busy and engaged with the moto community while I'm retired. Check out my Instagram @maxvonauto.

Nice Mark,
I hear you on the wanting to keep busy part. I’m not retired yet but have tons of energy at 48..lol I guess racing and riding since I was 8 and quit racing professionally at 35 helped. keep up the sweet builds though bud.
