Decosters track record for bringing up and nurturing amateur riders is horrible. It’s why TLD is breaking away from KTMs amateur system and are changing how they prepare young riders. No more Aldon and no more Roger dictating what they are going to do, the new team manager will set it all up.
for a privateer effort its easier to build a competitive 450 as there isnt a Hp disadvantage where as in 250's its all about HP. and there isnt a lot of factory teams in the GPs

FYI: You can still edit that.
I’m sure ktm will have it’s day in the 250 class
Euro MXGP KTM dont run OEM frames. There longer and designed around the MX tracks.
Hence why they handle so good overseas and they are so unstable in the US MX.
But turn to supercross and the Oem frames are more agile ands shorter
Pit Row
Jetts already proved he can win on anything... even against the factory KTM GP teams
Post a reply to: Why hasn’t the ktm 250 been so dominant here in the AMA as in MXGP
