I was planning on going, but now with RV done, and all the other top guys out, I'm reconsidering it. I'll still be in California, but am thinking about just staying up in Norcal if Cairoli and Herlings may not be there as well. Is anybody else reconsidering now?

In. Don't care who's in or who's out. It's a pro race at Glen Helen how bad could it be ? I live an hour away though so that helps

it's a good event, without Cairoli, RV, Nagle and the rest it sure lost it's appeal.

Now if Dungey and the guys race and win it's only because they didn't race anyone or if they get beat holy shit what a mess that would be, Ha ha.

All the riders currently injured will be back well before Glen Helen on the 30th of September.

Herlings and Desalle are both back this weekend, Nagl was supposed to be back this weekend but is apparently going to delay his return and Cairoli will be back towards the end of August.

It's the biggest race of the year on American soil. I will be there for sure.

One RV does not make the show. Should be a great race

If it wasn't for back surgery id be going. I worked the GP for Perelli back in 2010 and the Euro fans are crazy. Even with RV out I'd definitely go!

I already have my plane tickets, dont care who races, I"ll be there, also be looking for a house to rent for the coming winter months of jan & feb. Usually go to Fla for the winter but looking to change it up this year. Anyone have any leads on house rentals in a decent area, close to mx tracks.

In! It's looking like it will be the deciding race in MX2 and the AMA list of riders should make for a good race. You think MM25 will be told to help JH84?

If I could afford it, I would go. I would love to see the GP guys and let's face it, it's still top pros racing so it would be cool.

Musquin will be racing in the 450 class at the GP. He's too old for MX2

I would say that this will be the biggest race of the year when the US KTM and Husqvarna teams are in for it. There is no reason to not go, it will be awesome! I would love to se a USGP live...

Americans have always been so humble, gracious and courteous to a fault when talking about YS, FIM and the GP riders so I can understand why you might feel this way (insert sarcasm emoticon)

Seriously it's a freaking GP with works equipment on the hills of Glen Helen. How can you miss/dis that?

I'm a creature of habit so will be rooting for Desalle. Man that guy's ship has to come in one of these years.

Compare rates to fly into Las Vegas versus LA. I think you'll be shocked. Then compare rental car rates at the airport versus a Hertz or Avis Neighborhood locations. Objective is to avoid the airport taxes. Take a taxi into Vegas or Gardena if you choose LAX to get your car.

You could hit Zion National Park (at least a day) within 90 minutes of Vegas then have a nice 4 hour drive to Glen Helen. Love the desert between Vegas and Glen Helen.

thought all the ktm / husky riders were in for glen Helen gp? dugey, Anderson, pourcel, musquin, Osborne etc?

would be good if a few of the top ama riders did this race! good warm up race for the nations- Barcia/ trey/martin would be good to see race with the gp boys!!

as far as injured riders go, they should all be back by then anyway- cairoli, nagl, desalle, herlings etc etc

Personally i'd stay in Huntington Beach or Newport beach both what you'd expect of southern California. about an hour from GH but worth it to be by the beach, make sure you make a trip to vegas, 5 hour drive, the place is unreal! Make sure you milk your accent! The women love it! haha

If all the euro's had the same attitude as you, no one would have attended MXDN through the 80s, 90s and 00's.
