There is no way on earth they are letting an old bike come and race and make everyone look stupid.

Does it have the exhaust out of the rear of the cylinder like the YZF?

Think K-Roc might have hooked a few with this one. Laughing

What's the point of the "too old" rule? If you want to race outdated equipment more power to you. It shouldn't be giving any unfair advantage

It is the AMA's way to force racers to buy/race new bikes. Some of which are worse than earlier years. (ex. Reed and Honda)

If someone protests, they have to have a frame and swingarm from the same model year to measure against. They can't carry 20 years of every bike made to the track each weekend.

They're supposed to. I have no idea if they actually do or not.

Doesn't seem that far fetched to me. What is it, only about 40-50 (guessing) frames/swingarms?

If Kroc won on a 2 stroke....James Stewart would be the next.

KROC should just do it. What are they going to after? DQ him? He and Stankdog would have the whole place in a party. Win or lose.

If I was KROC.. Id do it. Id qualify on the 450 and line up on the 2 stroke.

With a #1 plate and a big fat pipe.

Cycle News Future headline.
KROC Dq'ed for winning national on a 2 stroke.
Fans burn down Ama headquarters.
James Stewart comes out of retirement stating Bubbalicious is back bishes. It's on.

Besides, at this point it is only an exhibition race for Kenny. Maybe he'll just cruise around the track on his four foopty doing donuts and burnouts for the fans. Maybe make a detour to the track next door and blitz some whoops like Jlaw.Laughing

And drink beer trackside.

Nobody sees 4 strokes when Stank is on the track.
If KROC was on a 2 stroke nobody would give a crap about the rest. He can only gain fan support.

James needs to do this. James is a 2 stroke dude.

9th on a 2 stroke is twice as good as 9th on a 4 stroke where nobody cares.

Why not just build a Suzuki RM250AF? Just put the 2 smoker in a 2016 frame? Would that make it legal to race?

No. But Id do it. All they can do is disqualify you for that race.

I can't recall safety being the stated reason for the production rule. Ever. Not sure where you came up with that tangent.

What a damn joke. The only reason the AMA has this rule is to force riders to buy new bikes. That's it. I know they'll throw some bull shit jargon and reasoning as to why its there but that's exactly what it'll be, bullshit.

Blame Suzuki for not having a current model for Kenny to ride!
Or the consumers for not buying them when were making them.

Hold on a minute guys. Your blaming the wrong people in this instance. My research and others says the AMA has nothing to do with the Pro Nationals!

AMA in Ohio only sanctions the Amateur racing and not the Pro racing. Daytona Motorsports group purchased the Pro Nationals from the AMA and when they did they got the right to use the logo of AMA Pro Racing. So AMA Pro Racing is the sanctioning body and not the real AMA.

I know it is confusing and the Pro Nationals wants it to be that way. As far as I know the AMA in Ohio is not involved other than they hand out the rider lic.

yeah, let's compare slavery with riding a old motorcycle. well done. trump would be proud of you.

By the way, I nowhere agree with the rule that prohibits roczen to race that bike. It's build by a factory team, I guess they know a thing or 2 about savety, so no point of not letting them use the bike if they wish so.
