I know this may be beating a dead horse but I picked up a 19 tc250 and am looking to get the forks done. Most of my riding is in the woods but still do moto. Talked to enzo for the kyb inserts talked to evo for an ohlins insert or K tech cartridges and a local guy who says he can make me happy with the air fork. Have a 19 350 sxf and I know I am not happy with this fork. Looking for a little advice before I pull the trigger. 195lbs b/c level depends on the day. Thanks in advance

I'm about to send my 19 TX suspension to FC. They've always done amazing work and they know their offroad stuff in our area. They told me they can get their valving for AER so that 98% of the folks won't notice the difference compared to springs. I'm going to try it and I've been on their KYB(yz250f) stuff forever so I'm going to trust them.

Get KYB. Ready to get a set on my KTM. Had them on my 2016 Husky 450 and miss them every time I ride now.

Come valves (3,500: buy and 2,500: sell) = -1,000.
Inserts etc from anywhere are around 1,000.

Suspension is like underwear. Everyone has their own pair. The main thing in my opinion is a shop that will actually go out and help you set it up. Many shops say they will but don't. I'd go so far as to say, make them set a date and time to help you set it up.
If money isn't the issue I personally run the factory WP stuff on my 300 and my 500. Its pretty sweet. I don't do Moto anymore, strictly woods. I went with cone valve forks as opposed to air. I've used FC, PC, Wilkey and others. I thought they were good but the best they could do was help me over the phone. Good Luck and be safe.

For a C/B level rider...If you are trying to go faster...I'd spend the money you'd spend on your suspension and go take some good riding schools. Guaranteed your lack of technique is holding you back far more than the suspension is.

If you aren't concerned about going faster...and/or...you just want to spend money on your dirt bike (which we all like to do)...then I agree with WFO...find a tuner that will help you set up your suspension, and use them.

Call mx tech 815-936-6277 ask them about the lucky gen 1 inserts that's geared more towards your riding level and works well for offroad. Now you can send them your forks to get done or a better idea once you ask any questions you have ask who is their local tuner for your area that does the lucky kits. Work with that local guy. You then not only have their tuning ability but also Jeremy's over at mx-techs tuning abilities. Truthfully all suspensions shops can install so if you know a shop and like the people there they can install them and help with tuning.
Tell them i sent you this may or may not help.

Thanks for all of the responses. My cruising speed is of a b/c rider but I have been riding for 30years and when I ride with my buddy who is an a class woods racer I can keep him in sight in the woods. I had some life changing surgery that I hot the ok to tide last year so I am trying to keep the speed down and keep the wife happy. Leaning towards the ohlins inserts but still would lobe all the feedback the you can give. Thanks again

I’m looking at the Lucky’s, haven’t read anything bad about them yet.

Corey at protune would be a good option for you, whatever way you go he not too far away.

If your local guy can watch you ride afterwards and tune it up if necessary, I would go with that option everyday.
From my experience if you have no idea, like some of us, the local tuner can see for himself.
