Rootin' for Jett since I'm Australian, will be happy to see Cooper get it as well. Honestly whoever can avoid that one bad moto takes the title.

I think my money is on Jett. He had 2 bad motos so far (crashes at Southwick and Spring Creek) vs. one crash from Cooper at Washougal and he is still right up there.
If they go into the last moto with less than a ten point difference this could get really fucking entertaining.
Either way both are riding really good right now, Jett just needs better starts and Cooper better second motos.

Jmart has to bite himself, this could have been an awesome three man battle.

I hope it comes down to a last round second moto battle. If is does my moneys on Jett.

I’m going for Jett, but he needs consistently better starts.
Cooper’s qualifying and starting ability is outstanding.

Either way it’s building to a great finish.

I’m rooting for jett but I do feel sorry for cooper. Everyone talking about jett this and jett that, Cooper won a sx title and has been super fast all outdoors. How he did a 1:47 that first moto is beyond me!

I'd like to see Jett win it but after this weekend, I'd say Coop has the upper hand. His starts will bring it home.

My $.02 is that Jett is a super entertaining personality and Justin cooper has the persona of mud when they interview him. Jett has the whole Aussie cool guy vibe going and gets the crowd pumped up.

Either way, none of that wins championships and if Jett can’t get a start he’s not going to win. I sure hope they’re tied in points going to the last moto and they both start up front on the final moto of the season. That’s be fun.

I share this sentiment as well. Although Justin Cooper needs to figure out his second motos, those have been kinda bizarre.

I hope they both crack and jmart pulls off a 3rd title. When he is on a tear like m2 at budds it's poetry in motion

If it comes down to who wins Pala my money is on Jett. But could go either way really. This title sure has to be earned

I think it's trending towards Jett.

He needs betters starts, but Cooper's 2nd moto's lately haven't been up to par, so it'll be interesting.

That said, Cooper does have JMart that can make things difficult for Jett. Hunter has been riding great, but he'll need to find a little bit more speed to help little brother.

Season is about to get even better.

I think the yamaha will win out over the honda. That star bike is just so good at starts and seems to have that little extra needed for protecting your line. Jett is a far better rider.

Unless Jett can improve the consistency of his starts, I think JC has the edge. Also, the Star Yamaha has a distinct HP advantage over the Honda. My heart is with Jett, my money would be on JC for these reasons.

Have to go with Justin, he is the start king and seems to be able to ride well when he is out front without cracking under pressure.

“Jett is a far better rider”

I don’t think that’s fair to say.

Based on jett getting bad starts and working up to first or second and jc does not seem as crafty. Speed wise jc may even be a little faster but when it comes to making passes i believe jett has the advantage overall.

It's a tough call. Jett seems to have more ability to overcome a bad start but he has to do it to often. Cooper doesn't seem to be able to "pull the pin" and go in the same situation but he rarely needs to. I kind of want Cooper to get this one but Jett could easily win it.

I'm hoping Cooper.

Need to figure out this second moto thing, and I also think he needs to be a little more aggressive/up the intensity.

Rooting for Jett 100%. Cooper's cry baby antics and excuses are super annoying. Did you notice the podium interview after the 2nd moto when he said how sick he had been and just glad to be out there? He failed to mention that after winning the first moto.....that one was all about how great the bike was etc etc. Same at Unadilla where he basically blamed the bike in moto 2. Either way, I hope it's close and will be fun to watch!

I hope Jett & Cooper have a small issue so Martin can make it a 3 way battle

It's a tough call but I think it will come down to who does better under intense mental pressure so I'm going with Jett clinching in the final moto of the season.

I think it's a final moto battle and the determining factor will be how close Jett is in points. If he's ahead, it's his. If he's behind, how many places does he need to beat JC by? If it's more than 2, Coopers got it.

Just rooting for it to come down to the last round. Not a huge fan of either guy at this point. Jett tries wayyyyyyyyyyy too hard (the dab was PAINFUL) and is getting forced down our throats by the media to be the next big thing, and Cooper seems to be full of excuses whenever he doesn’t win. I’d rather see about anyone besides these two win and it feels like it would have been a Jeremy Martin walk had he been healthy but we get what we get.

I’m rooting for Jett to take this one. The difference in the attitudes of these two is pretty big in interviews, even when you can tell Jett isn’t happy about a moto he seems to just keep moving forward. He slipped in “it was a rough week, I’m just happy to be here” casually while on the podium, and didn’t even elaborate. Meanwhile JC, as was mentioned goes from super happy and complimenting the bike after moto 1, to claiming he was happy to make it through the round for various excuses in moto 2.

Both guys have the speed and heart, but I’m a Jett fan and will acknowledge that bias 👍
