…on each team this weekend?

I haven’t had a chance to look at all of the teams yet, but I’ll start with a few and edit it later as I look at the entry list.

USA- Cooper

AUSTRALIA- Jett

FRANCE- Ferrandis

ITALY- Adamo

SPAIN- Farres

Interesting take. I would say hunter is much more likely than Jett to end up with a DNF or bad finish for AUS.

Cairoli, probably because of his usual MXdN luck…

We drop one of Eli's scores. Stamp it!!!

Eli wins the race he is paired with Cooper and gets tangled up in the race he is partnered with Chase and can't get higher than 7th.

Chase takes revenge for losing the 450 title and goes 1-1 and looks dominant all day prompting Herlings (I know he's not racing) to say on Gypsy Tales he'd love to race him at Lommel.

Cooper rides like the Cooper of last year having a couple weeks to shake the effects of Covid and heal up more. He holeshots one moto beating 450's and gets top 5 the second moto. He gets top 250 each race with a 4-5.

1-1-1-4-5

If usa end up having to drop one of tomacs or sextons scores that is not a good sign for a usa win.

Jett more likely than Hunter only because he's racing the big bike versus the big boys

Hunter has a class win at MXON, has raced Red Bud for 3 years and has been 2nd and 3rd in the class here. How do you figure he'll DNF?

Not dropping Coopers score could also mean that he has had an amazing day. It's crucial to have good scores (or at least one good score) from the 250 rider. Which is one of the reasons i would've put Jett on the 250.

2018 MXDN - RED BUD RESULTS FOR REFERNCE

Netherlands should have won easily with 3 moto wins and a 2nd but Calvin go a rock in the eye, DNF'd moto 1 and couldn't race moto 2. -That 34th place killed their overall score.

TEAM USA has to score top 6 for all three riders to be competitive for the win.

Team Australia has a good chance this year - Hunter is a strong finisher and Jett can win motos - Evens ???

Hunter has been pretty inconsistent lately. I worry that both him and Evans has one bad moto each and then they're done no matter what Jett does.

Hunter will make amends big time.
He knows the place like the back his hand and spent the last few months putting JCoop out of business.

Evans will be the problem.. he is so inconsistent in the GP’s. should have flew Metcalf over!

I wonder if the fact that he's still on HRC played a part in that decision. Now the whole team is under HRC, they even all have the same agent. But yeah, you can probably count the GPs on one hand where he had two decent moto finishes. Speed hasn't been a problem recently though. In 2018 he went 10-12, that could be all the team needs to battle for the win

Let's pump the brakes on Jett winning motos.

The best most experienced 450 riders on the planet (Except Tiga and Herlings) are going to get beat by a guy racing his first 450 race ever?

Kid has an amazing future with multiple championships in store but it will come in time.

PM is questionable on this site, I'll send one but in case I can help anyone else my cell phone is (386) 871-0666 you can text anytime, if you want to call evenings and weekends are best. Lots of great clubs in Florida, if you are in Volusia or Flagler we have our own lease that active club members are allowed to ride on.

Making the "Educated Guess" that Cooper's is the score lost likely to be dropped isn't a shitty comment towards him. It's merely based on this season and the competition...so far.

Our other 2 riders have consistently been at the front of their motos AND competed against one-another for title all summer.

Meanwhile, Cooper was still "getting his game back".

Hell, Copper is back in the game and looking pretty damn good. Let's not forget, he's up against some serious competition in BOTH of his motos; and, the dude has TWO MOTOS BACK TO BACK (he's out there with MXGP/Moto 1 and "Open"/Moto 2).

Truthfully, I think the dude is "Gonna Bring IT!". He seems to be pretty damn stoked, very proud and looking to "get some".

Exactly. logic would tell you that Justin's moto scores will likely be behind Eli and Chase in both cases barring any catastrophes. I think J Coop is going to bring it as well. I also think Eli and Chase are coming loaded for bear. I can't wait for Sunday!

Agree... Even with a great start, it's hard to imagine him beating either Eli or Chase in one of his moto's. After seeing what both Eli and Chase put together this year, I can't see them putting up anything less than a 4th in either moto.

Something like 1-2-3-4-10 (randomness for discussion) will be hard to beat in my opinion. And Cooper with his starting ability could drop a 6 or 7 on there too.

Most of the time these are won in the high 20's... Except a few like 2015 where it was a France and US slug fest.

How fun is this weekend going to be???
