Glad to see Max with the tire covers , i would be interested to know if he had them on to the start gate and if other teams follow suit when it's muddy?

Great pics and really interesting to see the mud setups.

Forget your rubber boots?

Thanks for throwing in the good photo of me trying to help Sexton and not one where I was also stuck! Woohoo

Yessir may I have another! I usually don't get excited about watching a mudder but this one was different.
Zacko lit the fuse on the day with his bike drama followed by a great (and perhaps unlikely) showing by the Suzuki's.
I have 3 myself and was definitely rooting for A-Mart and Anstie. That was a great Anstie pre-race interview BTW.
My My how the mighty can fall in those conditions.
I have been face down in a mud puddle while pinned under my bike due to bad line choice decisions at mud races in the 90's (Oregon / Clarks Branch) and admire the skill it takes to navigate through the slop. Yes I hope for a dry race next Saturday, but it was so nice just to see some racing at all. Thank you Guy B for the great coverage!

Thais were great shots! Really wish our TV coverage would share some of the trick parts/behind the scenes throughout the year.
Thanks for sharing Guy B!

I have a set, but I'm not that fond of using them. I do so much hoofing around that get huge scuffs on my calves from the top of the boots...they're usually completely raw at the end of a race day. At the MXoN at RedBud, I had a set that were just slightly too small, and I lost a toenail that time.

Hey Guy B look into a pair of these. I picked up a pair at local Farm and Fleet and love em, Ultra light and Ultra cushioned, think of a "Crocs" like feel and weight. I ended up buying a second pair and tossed all my old rubber and PVC ones in the trash!

Great pics, Thx for toughing out the conditions. I don,t like rubber boots either. I get a raw heal and there very slippery on a flour like a big rig. In the 2 weeks there did ya have time for sight seeing ? There should be good rafting in that area. Did ya start saying southern phrases like how ya,ll doing or I,m fixing to take some pics, go on and get me another beer.Smile Should be a great restaurant out there, southern cooking is great. Race day I drove across Tn. On i24 very little rain. Until Ga. Near the state line there was a huge rainbow, we drove past the end of it. Looking threw it was amazing, I was thinking this is impossible. Traveling can still be fun, enjoy the moments.

Check out Muck boot or even Bogs. They’ll be a bit more comfortable instead of the rubber ones. I use them all winter and spring working outside in rain and mud. It rains a lot in Seattle.

That looks like Steve , all with an umbrella shoved down the side of his back pack.

Btw , the pics were cool as hell. What a sloppy mess.
