Who is your 2018 SX Darkhorse pick?

I'll start. I'm suggesting two guys who I think can win a race, not just have a good night. In my eyes, a the potential to steal a win makes a real darkhorse

I think Barcia has everything he needs to come out and surprise some people. No one is really expecting to ever see 450 Supercross-race-winner Justin again. Everyone is just expecting to see the recent Justin Barcia who came into the past 2 SX seasons injured. New bike, new Factory team, he's my darkhorse pick for a moto win.

I also think Baggett is my number 2 darkhorse pick. He finally has the confidence to know he can race with and beat Tomac and that is what he's been missing. Confidence. I don't think it matters that it's SX. When he lines up on the gate next to Eli, he will do so seeing himself as an equal now.

Who's you darkhorse heading into A1?

Both riders run with some "Nicky" on their gear or bike. So...I concur...completely.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Blake on top of the box and Justin with a podium.

I ripped a start from Egypt and I was happy about that.

Along with those mentioned Tickle, seely, and I don't consider him a dark horse but some do Webb.

I dont think anyone is jumping in on the roczen, tomac, musquin wins. At least 1 will get a good start. And no one else can hold them off.

X2 for Baggett- His year to be a frequent podium guy

Current rides-

I have Baggett and Tickle as guys who can sneak in a win.

Good choice. He has everything he needs to get it done this year. I could definitely see it.

These two will be darkhorses. No one think they will race but you will see both making top10 at A1!

Truth is Justin Brayton is the true dark horse this year. I expect Brayton to have some great rides and beat title contenders like Bagget, Anderson, Seely, Webb, Tickle for a spot on box.

webb, and once he got a tast of it, he may just bang out 2 or 3 more wins.

I also think Baggett will rack up quite a few podiums and possibly get a win in SX. Then when outdoors rolls he will obviously be one of the favourites.

I'm not saying Webb, because I see him as a legit race winner, not a darkhorse. Baggett is my pick.

Not sure how anyone that has won a premier class overall can be a considered Darkhorse.

Tickle on 450

Harrison on 250

|

12/12/2017 3:07 PM

Tickle looked like he's rasied his intensity in the KTM video posted the other day.

And, you can never count Reedy out. Last time I did, he won.

Brayton has been putting in the work.

Hope Barcia does well also.

Someone who's won SX races and has several podiums ain't a "Dark Horse".

I'm jus' sayin'...
