Interested to see how many guys out there are riding full stock, from the factory engines, rebuilt engines with not OEM aftermarket parts, and full decked out mod engines. And if rebuilt, what is your service interval for top end?

I have almost never rebuilt my internals with non-OEM parts. The one exception is that I had good results with Vertex pistons in my '00 and '01 YZ125s.
These days, I'll stick to stock or possibly Niks/Pro-X hard parts. All my mods are bolt-ons.

Braaapin' aint easy.

OEM just about always. I did run a hot rods bearing kit and crank in a CR125 that I rode for another year and I never had a problem with it. I don't think I would do it again, but it never left me stranded.

Unleaded tastes a little tangy. Supreme is kinda sour, and diesel tastes pretty good.

When Pro circuit built my 125 we didn't alter the bore, change bearings, or do anything to the crank FYI. Stock KTM internals made it to 160 hours on a mod 125 with a hard rider, but was taken care of well.

I’ve never had any type of internal mod on any bike ever. Maybe an aftermarket clutch. My current rmz450 is all stock, replaced clutch with stock, yosh pipe

Usually everything stays OEM, i did recently get another 150SX to rip around that has been given the full motor treatment. Its super fun, i've been missing out.

I’ll use prox bearings and seals. Look to be identical to oem and carry same koyo numbers. Athena for two stroke gasket kits.

Build mine for power delivery.. run the stock stuff till i have to do a top end to really get to know the bike, then i take it to Twisted and tell him what i want it do with a 2-3k budget in mind for my 250f, my current ride has a 270 kit and its phenomenal its my favorite bike(17 yz250f) ive ever had. my 450's i usually just deck the head, stock piston and a vortex. usually about $1,500. if you locate a used vortex.
