Yes, Monea is the other Kawi rider. Phillips from NZ filled in for a few rounds before the break.
Word on the street is an American rider will be the replacement !!

The only 450 rider I can think of within the top 20 here that might be interested in a ride down under would be Kyle Cunningham?

I couldn't imagine any us riders being interested in racing Australia, especially in the middle of both seasons

Hmmmmm that's a good one. He has been here several times before, back a few years ago and raced the supercross in the 250 class. Nice ML512.

Josh just barely started riding again, so I kinda hope it's not him. I feel like there are a few more deserving riders at this point...

With pro golfer Ricky Fowler backing Kyle Chisholm's "Team Chizz" I'd think he could/should consider trying to be the Brett Metcalf of the Aussie series.. Though I recall hearing on the PulpMX show that Chizz basically got all of Millsap's Kawi support after they gave DM18 the boot. The support probably comes with an obligation/commitment to AMA Nationals series.

Like what support? Chisholm looked like he was running a pure bare bones operation at the last national I went to, he was sitting all by himself in front of his trailer with a dirty bike, and the bike did not look fresh, although there was about 100 gallons of VP in the back of his hauler.

Do we another import? No offence to the U.S. guys but there might be a privateer that could do with a hand.

Teams always like to try and hit a home-run. Helping out a local privateer may seem like the noble thing to do, but it's unlikely to come with the potential huge reward that a move like this could give.

Davi's motors, parts etc. Can't remember the exact quote from the PulpMX show, but as they were talking about Chisholm getting hooked up, Matthes said something to the effect of "Once Millsaps was out, Chisholm essentially backed a truck up to Kawi's door and just loaded it up"
