This may have been talked about already but through searches of the pages 1-5 of threads I couldn't find it. I feel like he sounds a little like Kenny Watson.

Along with being married to Jessica he's held several different jobs in the industry from truck driver to mechanic to tire guy and he was also a privateer rider in the early 2000s. Listen to the podcast Steve did with him a few months ago. He's a character for sure.

Dude hauled some ass in the early 2000s in Florida too. Crazy red and blue Yamaha's. I followed him up the elevator at gatorback my first time. He was always willing to help anyone too, as was jp$.

I started the first hour of last night's Pulp show in my truck this morning, need to finish it still. But, does anyone else think Eddie's a bit of a motormouth? Seems like a nice guy and he obviously is knowledgable about the sport but damn! The dude just rambles on and on and on sometimes where he could have made his point in half the time. Or maybe I'm the only one? I dunno...

I remember the cue ball look.
Pulled multiple holies at Branson one year when his heat kept getting red flagged-----he handed out perhaps one of the most epic ass chewings I have seen a rider give to a track official. I believe he won that day.....

The podcast with him was really good. The pulp show yesterday, not so much. He rambled on and on too much, needs to keep his thoughts a bit shorter in my opinion. But this was his 2nd or 3rd pulp show in a very long time so i don't mind that he is on once in awhile!

I didn't think he was bad last night but that just my opinion. That's kinda how he is since the first one (a VERY short time ago mind you, what's this his 2nd or 3rd show?) he's gotten better every time he's done a pod or show imo. He's becoming very good and rambling less.

He seems cool, he did take over the show a bit too much last night though.

1993 Tampa SX

He and I were there when they let the Amateurs race the SX's. Eddie is a good dude, was fast back in the day. His dad was funny as hell and a really good dude too.. Let me use one of Eddies bike in Homestead once when mine blew.

I've gotten to know Eddie and Jessica the past few years and they're definitely both awesome. Jessica came and raced a GP race I promote at Zoo City MX in North Carolina to get some "heat training" before Loretta's. The track owner got the local news to come out and they ended up doing a story on Jessica, but my favorite part was that they interviewed Eddie as "Eddie Patterson"

Yeah I agree; I felt the same way. I cringed a little when I found out that he was in-studio again for this week's show.

I like him as a co host, brings things to the table has been around and knows what he's talking about. Actually I like all the co hosts. There was only one person on the show that I wasn't fond of and he's gone now so all good. Eddie Rays podcast he did with Steve is well worth a listen, some good stuff in there.

He was the guy at the other end of the gate- that could afford to break bones.
