Justin Cooper's ability to handle pressure and not throw it away. He's had crashes, but realistically it's nothing comparable to other rookies we've seen. He reminds me a lot of RV.

250s: Cooper, also Ferrandis coming back from injury straight to the top of the field, I know hes good, but thought he would have taken a bit of time to get back up to speed.

450s: No one obvious, everyone is about where I imagined they would be.

250s: Justin Cooper. He's got a bright future for sure.

450s: Marvin Musquin. I didn't expect him to have such good battles with Tomac honestly.

Cooper and Barcia. Both for obvious reasons. Everyone else is doing about what I expected. I am impressed with KRs recovery and being back on a bike, but once back his results are about where I thought he would be.

250s I think Macadoo has had some surprisingly good moto finishes since his return and in the 450s, I'd say that Lacurcio has done even better than I expected.

Who else but Justin Cooper? That fanboy of his on here kinda soured everyone on him sad to say. He seems cool under preasure, fights for position, and the big one he starts at the front. Hard not to think he wont be one of the favorites for the title next year.

Cooper
Tomac for being consistent and managing bad starts and minor crashes.

I don't understand why people are surprised by Bloss? I mean he was getting the same results in 16, he got 6th overall in the series and that was his rookie year.

Yes he is getting good results. But he did the exact same thing 2 years ago. I think it makes perfect sense that he is getting the results that he is getting.

As for who has impressed me in 450: Tomac, i didn't expect this kind of dominance.

250: Cooper, the kid is the real deal.

Negative surprises: PC Kawasaki & the Rockstar 250 riders. Blake Baggett.

250: Ferrandis for coming back that strong from an injury, Cooper for his speed and how he handles pressure and imo Sexton is doing pretty well.

450: Tomac for not riding over his head (except at Southwick) and Barcia. Blake Bagget however just needs to put it all together..

Bagget has been a huge disappointment. For a guy who started prepping for mx months before sx was over and talked a lot of talk. Maybe his dad needs to hit the lotto or something?. (And Become famous)

^^^ man I have to agree with you, I was listening to the Pulp Review this morning on the way to work and they were being pretty hard on KR for not doing as well as he has at the start of the season. I think it's super easy to forget the severity of Kenny's injury and I'm sure the more he rides the worse certain parts of his hand/wrist will hurt even more. I hope he works through the pain and gets better as the year goes on. Maybe even switch back to the Showa but I'm sure there's a reason we don't know about for him switching to the KYB.

Dylan and cooper in 250. Bloss and Kroc in 450. Could throw in Barcia put with his sx season I’d figure he would be a podium guy. In give prop to kenny for even being out there

I hate to bag on these guys, but Savatgy's ship is sailing fast. I don't know anything about what goes on at the RC ranch, but it's not working. Seems like he needs to change it up a bit.

Yeah I don’t understand how anyone can be critical of his results. Im shit I’m sure he could have taken the summer off but he just wants gate drops. Also he said it his injury hasn’t improved since the first couple round. His tendinitis gets worse the more he rides. Hopefully gets back to battling tomac every weekend like I know he can
